IT IS TRUE THAT THE INVENTOR…OR GOD WATCHES EACH OF US…BUT IT IS NOT TRUE THAT..THE GOD OUTSIDE OF YOU HAS THE THE FINAL WORD…IT IS THE GOD WITHIN YOU WHO HAS THE FINAL WORD…AND THE INVENTOR,HAS EMPOWERED EACH OF US WITH ITS FINAL WORD..FREE WILL….MY GOD DOES NOT SAY…I WILL LOVE YOU MORE,OR I WILL PROTECT YOU MORE…IF YOU SUCK UP TO ME…MY GOD SAYS BE LIKE ME,AND DO GREAT THINGS…..HOW CAN I DO THESE GREAT THINGS IF IAM TIED TO THE APRON STRINGS OF GOD ,LIKE A FRIGHTENED CHILD TO ITS MOTHER…MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR US TO BE WHO WE,WERE INTENDED TO BE,,,GREAT HUMAN BEINGS WHO HAVE MASTERED THEIR FRALITIES….

kc……i understand ,how you you ,felt,,,,,it is amazing,but can be the most frightening of experiences…congratulations on your coping,,,fear is the final frontier,,,,,sometimes we can get too close to source,,,the lesson i learnt above all,was to live a great human life,without fear,,,,,i guess ultimate faith,in ones self…and the creative mind that,invented this world that we are blessed to,,partake of.

I come from a Christian tradition and when I was younger I had numerous “peak” experiences – those times when God or Christ or Angels or something much bigger than me appears and the power of it is terrifying at first. In the Bible, whenever angels appear to humans the first words they speak are, “Fear Not!” for a very good reason. I struggled so against my first experience and finally had to surrender with the belief that doing so would kill me. It finally became, “If it takes my life to experience this, so be it.” It didn’t take my life, but each time I would have to go through the same process; albeit, knowing that I’d survived one before which helped a little. Now, including Eastern teachings and meditation in my practice, I realize that I am tapping into Spirit and the eternal self and the fear, while still there, is less. I can’t give better advice than Deepak, but I can second his opinion to focus on the physical and just stay with the fear. It’s AMAZING what’s on the other side of it! Good luck.
