it tears you apart,to see animals suffering,,,,,yet not humans,,some people are as vulnerable,if not more than animals,,,,i know of a man who sleeps rough,with his dog,,,,he puts his dog first,when it comes to food and drink,,,,,,and people who come bearing gifts,to help,this man,,,,bring him tins of dog food,,the dog is still respected,more than the man,,,dogs are a pack animal,,,,as are humans,,,dogs look after dogs,,,but humans find it hard to look after oneanother,,,,,the man has grown used to eating the dogs food,they share it,,,,the tins of food are tins of animal pieces ie horses,,,,our good intentions can get lost in the moment of emotion

You are definately very right to care so much for animals the way you do, humans need care as well, give people the same care that you do for animals, it will help for a well balanced, caring life.

Thanks for this question and answer. I share your feelings Mary. My empathy for our non-human animal friends comes from intuitive and experiential knowing of the depth of their feelings (physical and emotional). I believe their consciousness differs from ours only by degrees. Yet humans have dominion and many exert it in horrific ways. I appreciate the response Deepak and am relieved just by the thought of giving your suggestions a try. Thanks
