I tend to feel that I have to tell people about my Big Event of my life. I feel that I’m withholding if I don’t tell them but I never ever like telling them.
It’s interesting also that so many of us see a person for an event they’ve lived through, rather than see the person as ‘person’ first.
It’s important to take care of ourselves, to speak up when it’s right for us, or best, but not because ‘it’s generally thought to be the thing to do’.
