And up came another interpretation.
Our awareness roams the senses, like a caged tiger.
Always moving from one object of attachment to the other.
The bars are the attachments to objects in our sense fields.
And the space between, is our ignorance.
Ignorance is what lies between those arising senses and thoughts.
Looking deeper, we can see ego grasping in that space, grasping at form, grasping at the bars.
And deeper still…… Well….. look see.
