while most medicore employers will feel threatened in the company of a talented employee, its not good reason to change profession. the lesson i learnt is that to be in a group of people the best way is to ' be' like them. that helps to sort out issues most times.

of course better solution is to look for self employment. but no job can be managed alone ,company of people is always required.

and certainly no harm in exploring hidden talents and finding satisfaction thereof...

Hackm@n: it is not a question of right or wrong.. it is a fact that 90% still thinks differently about goals in life/company/education/employees/people/world. That doesn't mean the 90% is right about the world we live in or how it should be or can be..

I too can identify with the question above.

"After a few years in a company the people who I work for start to see me as a threat. It has always ended in a conflict and every time I have to find a new job"

I have the same issue and have done for a number of years in every job i'm at there is always a conflict about 2/3 years in. Recently the years have been getting shorter for which these conflicts arise and its usually because I see clearly that things are not right when it comes to the way a company manages their staff or their practices are all wrong.

To me the pattern we are experiencing is something to evoke change in our role/job and lives and I hear you Deepak that it is logical to make the transition of seeking your new calling gradually so as to not cause hardship to dependants.

I am now doing my research in to the career path which it has taken a longtime for me to be confident enough to seek, and having the knowing and want to develop this idea/change is an amazing process... there is light at the end of the tuunel!

Much love
