When we desire something, it is an act of wanting. And from a place of want, we are seperated from that which we desire. When we want something, we try to obtain it. When we obtain something, we tend to want to hold onto it. And when we hold onto something we become heavy and dis-eased. The more objects we attach ourselves to through desire, the more seperated we become from what is and from pure Love. Any barrier or contraction in essence causes suffering. Seperation from the source can be a definition to suffering.

There is no need to desire something when you can become something. We become something when we truly love the object of our attention and focus. By merging with the object, we realize we are one and the same and that we are only wearing costumes and only visiting a unique and relative point of view.

Hi,

"Desire is the root cause of all suffering", this statement has caused lot of doubt in me.
I am confused how one can create without desire, but this answer has given me so
much clarity. It's not the desire but attachment to the outcome is the cause of suffering.

Thanks & Love to Deepak.
