I started blogging here in response to a Deepak article attacking conservative
Christian values. I called him hypocritical for preaching the “love everyone, accept
all beliefs, no one is right, no one is wrong, except Christians for believing
there is a personal God, man is a sinner, and Christ died to save us from
eternal punishment.

Apparently you can respond to it, you did! Yayy and I am proud of you for it. Meagain can I ask you a question? Why is it you are so very close minded about OTHER people’s beliefs? Why do they offend you so. No one is trying to convert you the way your religion tries so hard to convert everyone else. We are just explaining what we believe, which is OUR truth, doesn’t have to be your truth, it is ours.

Honestly, reading you post is like being in a bizarro world. A person could
take just about anything out of it they want, there is nothing to sink your teeth
into… When you share this stuff with strangers, do they look at you funny?
Do you notice they quickly try and find reasons to leave? It’s because they
cannot relate to this stuff, you can’t even respond to it.

Like Anthony De Mello said, “Before I was awake, i was depressed, after i was awake, i was still depressed” There is a difference however. That is where the understanding comes in. Drop all the illusion you have about yourself, and all the labels and expectations that we’ve been programmed with and just be who you are. <3
You are not who you perceive yourself to be. Also do not take my word for it but see for yourself, observe for yourself. When we suffer, it is because we are out of touch with reality.

@meagin, there is no right or wrong way. How can there even be the way when you are already what you are. There is no path, you are standing on the goal, all you have to do is wake up. Trees and Rocks are only manifestations of the Unconditional Love of which you are. Be aware of their nature, and you will become aware of your own True Nature.

I guess in a way the universe and nature have personalities, as God is very beautiful it is evident in all things. From watching a sunset to watching a beautiful stream. You just have to look, there is no need to look for it! 🙂

In respect to the universe and your desire become more attuned to each other, he is speaking in the respect to the dissolve of the individual ego. When this takes place you begin to remember your True Nature, that which goes beyond the finite self, that things that has always been there, that does not change, that perfect divine essence. To Deepak this is Universal Consciousness, to others it is God, to others it is Awareness, to others its Silence. To all it has different name but it is the same wonderful principle. 🙂
