I love deepaks answer only because I think we have all been struggling with this question, which inevitably will lead to the question, "Who Am I?". Everyone is lead to this question in their life, which brings you back to your true nature.

From what I understand from Free will in Maharaj writing was how Deepak put it. That given it is said in I Am That that you are not the body (and upon enquiry, you will find this to be true as there is no individual I) so then what you are comes before the body, you were there before the body was born. So the free will does no correspond really to the body, this is an illusion that the ego-sense or mind makes up because it attaches itself to the "I Am the Body" concept.

Nothing exists outside of Universal Consciousness so the will at that point of enlightenment is indeed that of the Universal Consciousness. Individual Will however is neither real nor unreal as long as you attach to the idea of the body, it will exist for you. In Vasistha's Yoga it says that, "The mind is whatever it thinks about" and if you observe or enquire about it, you will find that answer.

Everything will happen as it's suppose to creatively and spontaneously although we like to put importance on the past and present, they are not different and they all happen in the now. So many words we have to illude the Self, but by abiding in it do we become more at home in our True Nature, Universal Consciousness.

Hi.

In my opinion, you have free will when you act according with your ideas, thougths, etc.
But, from where those ideas, thoughts come?

If everything is connected, how do you know that your both choices were not a thing
that someone wanted to see here, in this site?

And this I'm writting now?
Would be this little text a "desire" from someone, or a thing that someone should read
to something? Or just, simple energy transfer between my fingers and the keyboard to
happen something in other location?
Infinite possibilities...

Do you know the "butterfly effect"?
