ever find for your spiritual journey. Your self, or your heart, according to God, is “deceitful above all things
and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). God also says, “Trust in the Lord with all your
heart and lean NOT on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your
paths” (Prov. 3:5). How do you trust in the Lord? Realize no one is perfect and we need a Savior. Trust in the one God sent as that perfect Savior, Jesus, who took the punishment for us; only through Him can we ever receive eternal life.
(see John 1:12 and John 3:16 and John 14:6). When you are led not by yourself but by God’s Holy Spirit
(who guides you with truth from God’s Word the Bible) He will guide you into “all truth” and that’s how
to be truly enlightened (John 16:13).
