Dear Mr. Chopra,

I have a question on Karma.

Is it true that if you do not forgive someone (due to valid reasons) in this life, you will be connected to that soul even in rebirth until you forgive that person?
If yes, how does one learn to forgive through meditation?

Building intention is the key to get whatever we want in our lives. We cannot blame ourselves or others for the things that are not coming into our way. That is because we didn’t build that intention at the first place.

We need to search for our sepcial talents. If our intentions will bring a great benefit to a group of people, I don’t see why the money will not follow in our way.

“Intention is not just a goal. Intention is the start of building a passion to do the things that we love to do in life.”

Cameron: one thing I really like about Deepak is that just when you think he is going to go all off into rainbows and never-never land (no offense Chopra), he lands smack dab right in the middle of reality and real life. And in doing so, at least in my opinion, he helps people (at least myself) all the more. This to me shows a wisdom that he has… You talk about life being “perfect”, which it will just never be for most people. To me Chopra is trying to get across that it is one thing to seek to manifest things so that your life is full, and it’s another thing to seek to make your life “perfect”.

Deepak, I have read a couple of your books and really like your message and guidance. But I have had a similar issue to the person you replied to. I am not a life minister or spiritual counselor but try to help people where I can. It comes easier to help someone other than myself.

If the person has a longing or calling to invest or participate in certain ventures is that not a sign that their life is not perfect as it is. If their life was perfect they would have never sent the email to you. Could there be some sort of residue from early religious teachings that we should not ask for ourselves but only try to help others?

I see the value and point of the advice, but am not satisfied. If he should desire to generate cashflow for security purposes, why can’t this intention be fulfilled? This is truly a rewarding life, however money is for a protection.
