Thank you, Deepak. I too find your analogy of the screen door very helpful. As I grow in self-awareness I become more aware of the goodness around me and the pain of others. For the latter, sometimes I feel led to say an encouraging word or just give the person a generous smile.
Thanks to the other respondents. I learned from your comments. I have learned that I don't always have to get involved! That is a big lesson for me. I have been looking for teaching materials on consciousness for teens and children. I will look for the book , "A Spiritual Guide for Teens." Blessings to All!

I agree with Ellen, that has been my experience during my transformation, and I have wanted to bring this healing to my children, so I started using your spiritual tips for parents, and I got you're book "A Spiritual Guide for Teens" and figured my preteens and teen wouldn't really read it on their own, so I decided to use a family reading, where we took turns. I wasn't sure how this was going to be received bec its been a long time since we all read regularly together, we have a habit of doing it alone now & my oldest daughter had expressed concern about reading as a group, she felt she would lose her attention to the message. To my surprise they really loved it! They were engaged, waiting for Baba's next antic, and my oldest daughter said it was better than all the other books I have & easier to understand. I have been working some time now to teach them the things I was learning, but didn't know how. Thank you so much for writing this book, we will be reading each day broken down in the book this week.

Much love & appreciation

I am in total agreement with your answer, Deepak. Thank you!! I like the words you used in regard to natural self-awarness operating as a natural screening process. As I become more self-aware, I am able to be tender hearted and kind (which I feel like I always have been in my life), even when I find it necessary to set a boundary. I am able to speak my own truth, anI am now very atuned to the positive in and around me, as well as being able to decern that which is not helpful or useful to me, and to just simply set and maintain a boundary with that person, thought, or idea, with no guilt, remorse or shame (the ego at work). I consider my life's purpose to be learning lessons each and every day as I walk with Spirit Light. I will always be grateful for learning to live in the moment, and to know my higher self. Thanks to Deepak Chopra, my life in the last ten years has been truly a "positive adventure", even in the challenge of cancer, which I have at this point been in remission for (6) years. Bless you, Deepak, for inspiring all of us.
