Actually I'm not a hypocrite, what happens when the hypocrisy is not there,
I'm still here, like i always have been, so this is just not true, I mean thats
a logical and rational way of looking at it right? :)

However, whether I should actually defend the point of view or not,
I'm not really interested in particular not because i don't think you are
worth time itself or anything else, I just don't think its productive if you
already are not receptive to other thought. I don't expect you to get it, and hey
maybe your way is working for you and thats great, i would never condemn
your methods as long as it brings you closer to the Absolute.

Try seeing it from the stand point though that the Bible was a commentary
on what it is to Unconditionally Love by people, this in which used things
only humans can use to try and explain things rationally, which are words.
Words are very easily distorted and misinterpreted so what makes you
so sure that your perception of the verse is not a distortion of the Truth.
It doesn't make it anymore truthful or false than any of ours, so where is the
hang up?

Thing is God was seen as the three but is he not the One? To say that God
is not the Absolute of all else would go against Christian religion? Nothing
I said says that God is not a personal God, He is more so then you're aware of.
The kingdom is within you..this also depends on your ability to see that you are not
the body in which is the human body, as you do not keep this upon its death, nor
does it ever consistently stay they same. The body has changed but i have not.

If you can at least acknowledge that you have eternal life and are eternal
and timeless (even the Bible states you have eternal life) then being the body
cannot be so either and thus knowing your true Holy nature, you'd know that the
kingdom of heaven is surely within you. What more could be a kingdom but to
be absolutely and eternal in the presence of the Absolute?

Hackman,

So you are saying that the quote from the Bible that says:
"the kingdom of God is within you."
actually means that "the kingdom of God is NOT within you".
Riiiiiiight. Ok. So verses from the bible can be manipulated to your liking,
to mean the EXACT OPPOSITE of what it ACTUALLY and CLEARLY says.
I'm starting to get this radical christian thing now!

Program me? You're a hypocrite LS. I have no tolerance for
comments like these. I reserve the right to respond in kind.

You guys are a joke on this God is within you stuff. The Bible
unmistakeably teaches a personal Triune God. This assertion of
yours is beyond ridiculous. If you are so sure that this verse supports
your notion, then elaborate on what "the kingdom" refers to for me.

I mean come on, are you really going to ignore the rest of the Bible that
consistently speaks of a personal God, a Creator God who clearly is
a distinct entity. The Bible is complex in a literary sense. It is full of
parables, symbols and literary images..
I'm sorry, but it is either belligerence or ignorance that allows you to
believe that.

my how defensive we have become at someone
elses reality. The fact of the matter is, is that if you are pointing
out the falsity in anothers reality, you must also point out
the falsity of yours as well, as his is no different than yours.
Do not pick at the speck in others eyes if you are not willing
to get rid of the log in your own eye.

Also on the kingdom of God is within you, who has said that it is false
doctrine, and who is anyone to say, this is not what the Bible teaches.
Your view is no better than his view. Don't speak with your mind, speak
with your heart, the thing that is your True Nature (not the physical bodies
heart).

It makes me wonder if maybe you have ever really sat with this verse
yourself catchme. =]

There is still this feeling of bother inside which I cannot shake in respect
to saying that "This is not what the Bible teaches." What gives you the right
and authority to say so? Have you really allowed your church to program you
to that point where you think you can make that judgement against
someone that has such a likeness to you yet you do not acknowledge it?

Webster,

Your interpretation of “the kingdom of God is within you”, to mean that
you will find the Truth within you is false doctrine. It is not what the Bible
teaches.
I encourage you to study further on that verse.

You like this one better than Phil's?

060918 06:45
Arisen from my rest I became more confident than ever that my children rest in God's loving embrace. Yet there remained an issue raised that both Osama and I would need face together: all the other 'children' who died most awfully.
For We are All Children of God.
I parse myself mercilessly and saw within my waking moments my son's decent into death.
He had made certain that I would witness what I longed to avoid, deny--eschew.
He rose from his death bed came to me and in his final embrace said; "I love you daddy."
Then he walked from one side to the other of his death bed and last moments before me alive in a curious ritual movement then laid down and down in his own blood.
Is there a 'good' death?
One more pleasant than another?
I cannot answer for other's since I realize in my statement that I just extinguished a cigarette and knew my death would mimic his. . . . My last fatal addiction.
I unfortunately do not 'know' my Brother Osama in the flesh as I did my son.
I do know him as father and leader and follower of a different prophet--a prophet I look forward to meeting when He greets me in Paradise.
As I have come closer in loving my 'enemy.' I intuit that surely he is equally distressed at the loss of a child, his children, his religion, and on-and-on and willing to give his mind, soul and heart in equal and greater measure that their awful death's end. And as a father Osama must also have offered His Soul in barter that no other of his charge be taken in death.
I a mere mortal yet live did not 'see' this but know it true: The victims of 9/11 are joined in love, harmony and peace one chorus of Love with their 'enemy.'
Or merely those who attempted to victimize them.
Are We, He and i, your enemy?

Master,
I am cleansed of two profoundly troubling and intensely personal concerns:
I am bipolar and have feared for a lifetime that I was insane.
I am a child of neglect, overt and covert abuse, and abandoned through inattention
and thus I became addicted to sex accepting it instead of the true love I hungered for:
to be held, kissed, caressed and reassured that I was accepted and loved;
a child in its mother's arms blessed with tranquility
assured of peace.

And I have been healed.
of my terror.

So I ask of The Healer not
"why?"
nor
"what can I do for You?"

The Healer is often silent and speaks to me
telling me to sleep or arise by a breeze
perchance to clean again my palate moist from the pebbles:
Words given to me to carry in my parched mouth from infancy
unto old age and impotence.

I struggle to define and express the experience of The Healer and know
that I can not parse nor deconstruct what I know as real except only that
which I can change, my self, by choice.
Perchance to say Yes or No
and know a blessing equal either way so I say confidently to
anyone who should listen:
it is not 'either/or' but 'and both'

The Healer lead me to my parents and children long past into slumber who
now are in the Healer's arms blessed and at peace moreover free of their pain.

Master I am not distressed for I, my Parents, my Children now know, through The
Healer, that death is absolute but the soul remains as it was written in the beginning
and remains eternal with the Healer forever blest.

Master I am confused by what you imply or is it that I infer?
That I allow others their process or progress towards The Healer individually
without address the waste of The Healer's Garden and our current home
I cannot stand in judgement of my brothers and sisters or their choices.
They are equally beloved of The Healer yet they deny the Love given to them
and thus do not mirror or transmit that Love as actual Light in the darkness
surrounding us . . . a final sunset.

I am not told to speak for The Healer who only suggest that I arise and rest or
simply be blessed with evidence of The Healers presence
more daily, clearly and nearly
moment by moment as the 'clock' ticks down.

I weep to say that I will miss this Garden that The Healer allows us to abandon indifferent
to the consequence so perhaps my query is in error since I know we have all the time
in Creation but am apprehensive of our looking back at what was once the Healer's gift to us.

I should but cannot rest in the recognition of not only my brother but The Healer in Osama bin
Laden's eyes since I equally see my self in him.

Although Thou The Healer and He may slay me atrociously I know we will all meet in the ultimate and final Garden belonging to our mutual Parent whom we both call "God."

In the end We; He, I and the Author/Gardner/Healer, will be brothers and friends; finally a family sad that We have lost Our voice, This Garden, and all the children Of Our Parent who also died awfully.

Finally aware that Our three sets of foot prints in the sands of time are now erased

A sadness over which there may never be unconsciousness.

Master,
I am cleansed of two profoundly troubling and intensely personal concerns:
I am bipolar and have feared for a lifetime that I was insane.
I am a child of neglect, overt and covert abuse, and abandoned through inattention
and thus I became addicted to sex accepting it instead of the true love I hungered for:
to be held, kissed, caressed and reassured that I was accepted and loved;
a child in its mother’s arms blessed with tranquility
assured of peace.

And I have been healed.
of my terror.

So I ask of The Healer not
“why?”
nor
“what can I do for You?”

Perchance to say Yes or No
and know a blessing equal either way so I say confidently to
anyone who should listen:
it is not ‘either/or’ but ‘and both’

The Healer lead me to my parents and children long past into slumber who
now are in the Healer’s arms blessed and at peace moreover free of their pain.

Well Said. =]

Parable of the Monkey and the Fish

The disciple said,"What on Earth are you doing?"

As the monkey scooped the fish out
from the river and placed it on a branch in the tree

The reply was,"I'm saving the fish from drowning."
