You are very welcome Dail :)

It is my advice to you to stick to what you believe in, live your life in this fulfillment and
don’t worry too much about someone else’s opinion.

It is YOU, the individual, that determines what to believe, what to buy, which transport to use,
what to eat, etc. etc. It depends on your circumstances and where you live. But certainly
in a democracy like yours and ours in Europe we have this freedom.

We all could ask ourselves: what do we really need to be happy?

In fact I do believe that it is the 'customer' and by this I mean the individual person who will
even have more power in the future and will be able to have more influence on government
and institutions such as banks, supermarkets and healthcare.

It is the Internet with all its knowledge that gives us this opportunity.

And if you believe in Jesus in the way you do, it is your true birthright to do so.

I do honour this divine spot in you as I do honour it in myself.

With gratitude and love from

Beautiful story. Thank you for that and I understood every bit of it.

In the interest of understanding me, I will only say that trusting God for his promises
would be foremost in my thoughts as I wondered where my next meal might come from.
I believe that it was a personal God who sustained you through all of it. We just can't
control all of our circumstances. At some point in life don't we all come to realize that.

It's curious that you say that it was the most enjoyable part of your life. I often think that as
I watch what I perceive to be the "American Dream" slipping away, and by that I mean
steady work, increasing personal comforts, retirement after 65 with health care
and enough to survive on, that their will be an upside as we find out what is important
in life. The downside of prosperity has always been that man learns to lean on
himself and turns away from trusting God, materialism becomes his god.

I appreciate your post very much, it was very meaningful.

Well Dail, what can I say.

When I was born just after WWII in Holland, we had nothing, really nothing
left. And by nothing I do really mean: nothing, no food, no nothing.

We had to start from scratch and in a little country like ours this was done
by cultivating the land, farming etc. And I can tell you that at that moment
nothing else was needed than sunshine and rain.

The way I remember my youth is that we had just enough to eat and be
happy with what we had.

And I can tell you that these were the happiest days in my life and we
all blossomed. And our whole generation has blossomed because we
were the first generation in Europe without any war.

Slowly but surely we all did better and better, my parents wanted to
give us a better life than what they have had.

When I was a parent I naturally wanted to give my children even a better
life than I have had. And by being able to do so I blossomed again.

I haven't had much education, but I know one thing and that is that
being creative in life with that what you have is a gift from inside and
if one is able to use that gift, one always blossoms in a most simple
way.
No education, no religion and no science is necessary for that.

It is the knowledge about what life is all about.

I had a good life up till now and when my mother died last year, her last
words were : "Had a good life"

I honour every One who is able to live in that blossoming way!

Mieke,
So the sun created life? I would love to hear that explained. Of course,
you guys are never much for details. It's not about reality, it's about what you "feel"
at any given moment.

Your purpose is to blossom? Can you try being specific and expand on that?

To die to live again? Are you sure? I mean are you really sure?

Mieke, your flowery generalities sound real literary and might fit well in a poem.
But they don't have any substance, nothing you can sink your teeth into. Or
maybe, that is your point?

Am creative at the moment in the moment :) :

The labyrinth

Is the process in Ones own life garden

Sowing the seeds

Blossoming abundantly

Reaping the fruits

Which sometimes are astonishing

The journey towards Ones inner source

To that what really moves One from the core

To encircle the Self

To encircle the inner Sun

And to finally arrive

At where you begun

In the middle of that Same Sun

You Are the Process

You Are the Way

And when you arrive there

It feels like Bliss

A Divine Union with All That Is

What is the origin of life?

The Sun

What is the purpose of life?

To blossom

What is my destiny?

If we look at seasons in nature, everything has to die to live again

There are also seasons in a human life, life is a process...

What is the purpose of life?
What is my destiny?
