					<description><![CDATA[@mercedes, Your brain doesn&#039;t know what it cannot do unless you tell it. The thoughts you currently have are conditioned thoughts in your mind that you cannot simply do it -- since it doesn&#039;t fall with the norms in society, that is, you doing something which what thought impossible or commented upon as sinful or ridiculous. In other words, a social out-caste.

When you do meditate -- you notice &#039;something&#039; when you think. You are aware that you&#039;re thinking! This is consciousness. And consciousness is unlimited. Once the consciousness in your arises and awakens, you&#039;ll unlock your potential which has been waiting to burst out within you for ages.

Your soul is not confused, it&#039;s you who is confused. You&#039;re engulfed in a &#039;battle&#039; with your ego and it&#039;s driving you confused. Since you don&#039;t really understand them. It&#039;s not a problem, you will understand. You cannot really &#039;feel&#039; the ego. You feel the emotions associated with ego, and when you actions or emotions make you feel in a certain why, you tend to link it with ego and label it (categorize it) in a certain manner, this too, is the ego.

You like love but hate the opposite of it? By hate it and be saddened? -- It is after all, a gift. 

Imagine yourself in another world, where there was nothing related to the opposite of love. No fear, no crime, no sadness, etc. Only love, joy, happiness, laughter, nothing else!

And then... someone comes along and tells you that there is sadness, pain, fear, etc. You&#039;ll be pondering over what is that -- &quot;what is pain? how does it feel?&quot; etc, you will not know it unless and until you chose to experience it. Knowing and Experiencing are two different things.

So after knowing it, you chose to experience it. You know very well what you&#039;re about to experience -- &quot;pain&quot; and so you let yourself be hurt and hit, be saddened, etc. So that you may feel it and be a part of it. So how can you call it bad, for it is helping you to realize much more than what you had thought to know.

When we come onto this planet, the realm of relativity, we come here to experience life in many forms. But there is twist in this game, we forget everything! The game is to find out what You Already Are.

You should learn to see life as a blessing, whether it be a &quot;good&quot; or &quot;bad&quot; experience. If you see these so-called hurdles in life as problems, then, they will be exactly that, problems. And make it much harder for you to overcome them --- since you&#039;ve already told your mind that it&#039;s a problem.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[i always thought i was a three part being. i have a mind am a spirit which is housed in this physical body. also i thought my mind will and emotions 5 senses were my soulish realm and my spirit is spirit. my mind doesnt dictate to my spirit but the opposite. i do meditate however i find its going past my soulish realm. spirit relating to spirit. i enjoy your wisdom. if you have any comments id love to hear them. shannon]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I had a similar experience when I first started meditating.  It was a very difficult task. I felt a bundle of joy one day and a bundle of sadness the next.  It was tireing to try to meditate when sad.  I saw parts of me that I didn&#039;t like and tended to judge them.  My physical body, mind and emotion, had generated a great number of roles that came out in different circumstances of my everyday life.  One day I was giving, and another I was jelous.  I used to judge what I conceived as wrong, example the jealous part, and put a great load of guilt in me.  But then I could understand that I would go nowhere until I could accept both.  It is part of integrating yourself, accepting all of the roles you have made up.  I started observing the emotion of guilt, without any judging, that for me would come in the form of negative thoughts.  Then I would recall an emotion, opposite of the guilt, that I had felt in the past, as well only observing it.  I did my best to feel both at the same time.  I could come to understand that the happiness that I felt was only temporal because I was not paying attention to the sadness.  There is a reason for both and it is important to pay attention to them and try to figure out what they are saying.  As time goes on, I can see the reasons for these emotions more easily, it is thanks to the practice of meditation and bringin in the observer.  Now I dont go to the extremes, I balance myself and there is less diverging emotions that seem to contradict themselfs.  I have attended therapy and read a lot on meditating.  For me it was important to have some profesional person to help me out.  What I did notice was that the things I needed to get to the point I am now were given to me, a part of syncrodestiny that Deepak talks about.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Your ansawer .. I need to do a lot of meditation, and focus my energy in the right way... I am not sure If i can do, I feel lazy and.....I try to observ my though for a second and I see more clear my mind.
My soul is confused, I feel love and ego,Deepak Love is only mean hapines no sadnes, in me always is both, I know is not normal, with 42 years old what can I do.. meditation, I try to be closer to you, in the same time I feel love, to you. I wish one day I can see my selft clear like the water,to be a real person, Deepak at sames times I think is not possible for me nothing in this world, I feel my self to ignorant in this world,I wish be in 2600 years after where human mind have diferent paterns, and soul plan.

					<description><![CDATA[To me it has become very clear what the soul is.  It is very difficult to put a defenition like one you would find in a dictionary.  In my experience I can tell you that the best way to find the essence of the soul is thrugh meditation.  I have gone thru some difficult times in my life, thru meditation I was able to observe all the thoughts my mind was creating, as well as all of the emotions my body was creating.  It was at the point that I could notice that I had something in me that could simply observe all of these events in my physical body that I found the soul, the atemporal observer inside of you, simply freedom to all human conditioning, the part of you that has complete consiousness of you and your surroundings.  My physical body had experienced the essence of this observer.  My life has been integrated from this point on, the interaction between the soul and the physical body is crucial for me now, my actions are observed from the moment they are made, as well as the actions of others and of all of my surroundings.  I wouldn&#039;t be so keen on trying to put a definition to the soul, it would mean bring it in to the physical world, it is simply part of something else, and for some reason it can interact with the physical world.]]></description>
