The questioner is denying his/her history and origins. Did he/she bother to study Hindu scriptures at all? If he/she did he/she would have found that there was no reason to convert at all. Hinduism is universal.

Since the questioner links his/her material success with his conversion; we then have an indication of his/her real motives. Perhaps the bigotry and lack of understanding of his/her employer or clients made them dismiss his/her? and his/her subsequent conversion to the dominant religion more acceptable? Perhaps the questioner’s willingness to convert is being rewarded materially and a source of the new found success?

Chopra is asleep at the wheel, again. There is widespread bigotry against Hinduism and he needs to acknowledge it.

Vaishali: To respect one’s religion and then to put a negative slant on all religions makes little sense.

Deepak made great sense until he claimed to know the “true path to God.” There is no provable God. And, God is a Christian term. What religion is Deepak? Christian? If none, why enter into such discussions?

Very well said Deepak: I just loved this statement of yours: It is important to be able to respect that for others, because that respect is a test of your own trust in God. If you don’t trust God can be revealed in others hearts except through your religion, then you are trusting a religion, not God.
The person asking this question, has a long way to understand that God is nothing but the true self and pure potentiality while, religion is the social commercial mechanism to exploit the human quest to to find peace.

You should share that inner peace and happiness with them and trust that they too can (with no doubt) will find the same in the religion they follow that’s true to their hearts.. If your’e thinking about using your time to convert others rather than supoorting and respecting their choice, then you need to re-think…

Self-respect or love means:
respect for everyone’s “religion” or inner truth 🙂

Religion should be replaced in the new spiritual language with “one’s inner truth”

and then share it happily in the field of all possibilities……..
