I think there is a third area of immense importance: Signs, that is, Spiritual Signs literally from the Higher Spirit World to where we are attempting to someday live in a far more evolved planet of some sort, eventually to where our “Witnessing Soul” abides, from whence tne very purest of Spiritual signs, comes from. But- Only if we actively look for such Signs, will either our Soul, or even other highlly evolved Celestial Beings, our perhaps, Real Family. But if we never look, then only of course, our Souls, and Higher Others, will then only send us such Signs in our Sleep, however, one of the greatest Vehicles for Signs, again, Sleep. Whatever Sign System you use will become the System our souls and Others Will adapt to, although best to listen to re spective Systems “They” really hope you are ready to receive. For example, in a library just to see the newest bestsellers, a title became a tremendous Sign, telling me to move my affairs much, much faster!! Really better after that. Auspicious Karma back on track. A general example is of course, numerology, where if used, really do abound.

Is it possible that we cannot arrive at the ‘success’ or solutions we seek — because we are seeing the world and opportunities from a human-scale limited perspective? What if we could somehow shift consciousness to more of a ‘world-scale’ view, and thereby see how we might have a piece of a larger puzzle coming into manifestation?

i think Deepak has explained it beautifully… karma is just conditioning… from what i read your karma is your inherited and deep-seated feeling of unsatisfaction… therefore your real success would be realizing that your life is already perfect… not the so-called purposes or goals you think you need to become fulfilled… the moment you acknowledge nothing is missing your life will unfold accordingly… “when you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you” (Tao Te Ching)… blessings…

I think Deepak is saying here by “past influence” our own path. Let’s not blame karma for some past-life idea, that just makes us believe we are helpless to change things in this lifetime. Or that we are somehow being punished and must pay for a past.

Instead, we have two things.
1) things that were done to us which created beliefs about our self and the world
2) what we did to others
Each of these creates behaviors from unconscious beliefs. For #1, forgiving what was said & done to us, identifying the beliefs we created.

For #2, it can be good to consider all the things I may have done to others, especially, around success in this case, to others. For example, maybe we were mean to a school mate or to a parent. Sometimes our karma is that we hurt someone, and as a loving beings, we carry that guilt.

In both cases we were little. Time to forgive the others and ourselves. Write down the 100 people you need to forgive and you wish could forgive you. Work on forgiveness for everyone on the list, especially yourself. Visualize a forgiveness meeting with each person. Watch how that frees up energy to be more loving to yourself and allow success in.

Sometimes we are punishing ourselves for being a mean little kid that didn’t know any better.
