And being spiritual does not mean that you still get sick and are unhappy either. How many really understand what being spiritual means? There are dogmas in the so called spirituality also. Making evident the immortal Spirit is your only sure way of knowing who you really are. Religion and spiritual teaching can bring you only so far….The rest is realized and demonstrated in your own life….

All of Deepak’s “teachings” and insights resonate deeply for me. I agree spiituality has nothing to do with religion. Thats why I like the philosophy of Buddhism. Its mostly about meditation and living a life awake, concious and compassionate as Deepaks writings and spiritual teaching shares.

The burning question you refer to Deepak, is one I have not yet been able to articulate. Its more of a body-mind feeling thing than an actual question. Its much greater than the seemngly simple question of “what is my purpose”? I already know that. That does seem to be the big question for so many, but it doesnt FEEL like mine. So I keep reading and hearing messages from the masters. I did medidtate at a Buddhist center last night. Just another pebble. Thank YOU. Laura

We haven’t Buddist centers or Temples where I live. The closest is about 25 – 30 miles away…. and I don’t drive. Also, I am not among anyone who is interested in attending a Buddist Temple.
