Nothing is more powerful than love yourself, and believe in yourself. I will definietly know how painful will be for you to take such long years of struggling on not accepting yourself, and put hope in someone else to save you. Please wake up.

You are the only one person that can really heal yourself. Learn from yourself, everything that has made you feel discomfort about yourself. Don't you know that all the things that you have been seeing about you is not you? Inside of each one of us, is secrat and divine. We are love at the core.

So, starting from not let anyhthing that still keep you have doubt about yourself, learn to love and accpet yourself first. Learn that every moment is a new beginning to you.
Let's celebrate your new life at each moment, and let go your past for good!

I agree that you might be more well than you think. I am a person in recovery from an eating disorder and bipolar. When I went to a support group when I was very sick with anorexia I had to intoduce myself and admit that I was suffering from an eating disorder. In the middle of my time in the group I started saying that I am recovering from an eating disorder. Then I got well and stopped going to the group. I felt better in the last year with my mood disorder too but the mental health professionals say things like bipolar is something you are going to have to deal with for the rest of your life. Also if I got upset in therapy over something it was a sign of my illness. It is like the profession is all programed to say you are ill at any symptom they say is there. Even talking about spirituality with a mental health professional could be called a symptom. Start thinking of yourself as a person in recovery and look for the signs of health. One examples is writing on this forum and asking for help. Another example is sticking to the therapy process for 10 years. Some people don't have the courage to even go the a therapist. Be Well.

I agree we go round again, to work at a deeper level of processing. And i think there are times when we need to fall apart, to not know what's going on, to allow patterns and defences to fall away. these are the dark nights of the soul that we cannot avoid if we really want to grow and develop. Trusting some good souls around us during this time is our anchor.

What Deepak said is true, but equally true is that in some dimension that healthy fully functioning you exists already. It is up to you to step into that dimension. Once you can see that self it is much easier to step into the reality of that self.
