I am in a bit of a sticky situation here. I’m a 17 year old guy living with my mom and my sister. i am an empath. i can feel other people’s emotions very easily and am extremely energetically sensitive. the problem is – my family is extremely negative. my mom is disconnected from who she is, and my sister is hostile in almost everything she says. my mother is trying to do too many things at once, and the house is almost always a mess. they are stuck in very bad egos. i am very different from them. i am looking for an environment in which i can have structure, organization, and become stable in my life. i cant be taking on my family’s extremely negative energies anymore. i need a place where i can be in peace, and where i can function in school. my household is not a match for me anymore. i am very spiritually developed and have spent a lot of time with my true, silent Self. This is very very tough for me. I don’t know what to do. I’m thinking of moving out with another family, but I don’t know with who. And I am a minor. I don’t know what to do. In addition, would a homeopathic mood stabilizer work to help me with the negative energies around me? Please help me.

I would never think of humiliating any of them. I also practice meditation I have spent a lot of time figuring out what my role is and when to interject an Idea and when to keep my mouth shut. I am finding my way slowly. I ask what I can do to help instead of using humiliation, anger or any other negative comments. This is my Sons home and I respect that.
After almost a year of staying here my Son and Daughter in law ask me my thoughts on subjects having to do with my Grandchildren.

I must say that I suffer w/ you. I have a similar problem w/ my family. They do not respect my house, my marriage and my husband’s family. Sometimes I think about leaving it all for good because I cannot handle these tenses and hurtful moments. I still have hope that one day my mother and uncle will accept and embrace life itself. I don’t understand why they choose the path of suffering and hurting. They have grandkids that they choose not to see. The effort is always from my side to make peace, to forgive. I really cannot keep doing this forever. I cannot change what does not want to be changed. I hope and pray for a solution before I loose my mind. And now I will keep praying for other families that have the same problem.
