I was recently in a similar but different situation in a shared office. I am no longer in this situation because I knew the experience was a learning one not a permanent one. I am still reflecting on this. I knew the only person I could change was me and the other person would continue to feel intimated or whatever she was feeling towards me.
I meditate on this also because I know I will eventually be in a situation to help others through Ayurveda.

OK,....lets say 'Hilter' is this person....are we supposed to continue co-existing with them and supporting them through sending them the loving kindness, acceptance and prayer proposed? When is it time to not participate in their dance? What if they are involved in criminal activity? Are we supposed to stay distant and 'just accept them as they are: a manifestation of the creator?' This is the part the confounds me.

Raj, have you tried reflecting on God existing through you? Or better yet, that you (and everything/everyone around you) is a physical manifestation of God? Meditating on these concepts might help you to feel more grounded and less "lost".

My question seems related to the one about letting go of the ego. I've been thinking lately that I don't exist, that only God exists, but that makes me feel totally lost. I can only seem to act if I am doing it for someone or something else. I don't know if this is a valid way to be or if I am losing my mind and need to see a therapist.
