Whenever we are in purified state of heart and start meditating. whether through sitting postures, walking, etc,we start slipping into another dimension of existence.Because we are living and spending our lives enveloped in small .limited circle if negative egoes,we are bereft of the taste of the Divine.I have felt this divine presence so many tmes in an exalted state when walking in nature or hearing beautiful voices of birds or man-made music. If we reclaim our native originality and become acutely aware of the PRESENCE of the Divine then such unlifting experiences become quite frequent.Blessings..

just to add-- the first time i made conscious contact with the universe / god / consciousness / source, i laughed profoundly and in a totally new way for months, sometimes hysterically, at the unreality of the reality "we" have exhausted ourselves into believing is real...

i laughed even harder that i had been searching my entire life for something all-knowing, all-understanding, all-meaningful, yet all along it was in fact closer to me than anything or anyone else in the physical world could ever be... this something was me; i found me. it might be more accurate to say that 'we' found 'eachother.' today the planet boasts nearly 7 billion human me's... most of which are searching for that something... ah, part of me still finds that hysterical. you can get accustomed to the fact if you so choose... but by all means, enjoy this experience to your fullest capacity.

Rock on Deepak, while I have experienced similar feelings while deep in meditation, I tend to feel it WAY more while I am completely in The Now and fully present on y skateboard. Kind of a weird interpretation, I know, but that is sort of my outlet for complete self expression and it reay tunes me in to What Is.
