I’ve read most of what Deepak’s written (in books) but his final statement about the questioner not being ‘dismissive of others who know more’ I find to be patriarchal at best. I believe this young woman wants very much to follow her heart, and she’s just not sure yet – because she’s been raised to believe elders always know best – what her heart is saying to her. Take time, questioner. Rush into nothing. Trust yourself at all costs…trust your inability to accept the will of others until you know in your heart what is true, what is real – for you. Your sensitivity & intelligence are already shining through. Namaste

Allow me to give you some food to think about how women in another part of our globe look at this subject nowadays:

If you are truly honest to yourself you know that deep inside you even do not need a husband.
You have it all in yourself. A woman is already complete on her own. She has the male and female energies inside her as a natural gift. This is because she is able to give birth to both genders.

Ask yourself if you want to have children. This used to be a natural gift to us, that we were able to literally sense which man would be the perfect father to our children. Unfortunately this natural gift has gone astray by all the influences we nowadays seem to have to undergo.

We are the womb of the Universe, we do have the primordial power to know the perfect father for our children.
Marriage is only a good thing for raising children. If you do not want them then just do not get married. If you do want them then deeply think about how you would like to raise them.
You will attract the perfect father by itself 🙂

Guess we women completely should get rid of finding the man of our dreams.

Finding our soul partner is something that happens in the second part of our lives, when we do not have the ability anymore to become pregnant. It is a totally different stage in life where you will find yourself back as the complete unity you are again.

Because face it: when you want children, you will live an important part of your life just to raise them and they truly fill your days from morning till evening. It is a big responsibility.

Well, hope I have given you a little bit food for thought, how in the western world women nowadays look at commitment into a marriage.

First thing is to be completely responsible for every decision you make. That is why women in my part of the globe nowadays take children at older age and first want to get to know themselves a little better.
