Theists have the word THEIST written in ink, using a Cross pen, on their foreheads. It’s the modern day version of ashes and sackcloth.

There are many of them in the conservative-Midwestern, rural areas where I live. One would think I could get away from their ramblings on a somewhat intelligent internet, but they shop at Wal-Mart (Don’t get me started about that!), and now have computers.

What is the direct Truth about 2+2 = 4…? Is 4 the direct truth? Or is its absolute Principle of addition that speaks the of direct truth? Or is it everything involved, the whole equation? I do notice one thing though, the 4 is in harmony with its absolute Principle, if you put a 5 there it would not be the real answer nor would it be in harmony with its Principle-

Yes Mieke, I love the Bhagavad Gita-the Celestial Song- I have that in my library too. The interpretation from Paramahansa Yogananda. I also have the Second coming of the Christ from Yogananda too…When you study’ and practice and experience both, you see so clearly that Truth is One….And it is true also when you read Mrs. Eddy’s Christian Science followed by her Prose Works( Divine Science)..You see it all there, the east and west coming together as One….Love being the highlighted Principle of all these Holy writings written by the pen of God Consciousness…no matter the screen name- It is God revealing Truth and Love to the individual- And it is the love within you being that receives and is one with, the love from the Word of God. Sri Yukteswar, Paramahansa‘s Teacher/Guru, wrote a book called the Holy Science.- This book The Holy Science when reading Mrs. Eddy’s Science and Health are ultimately saying exactly the same thing….”Beautiful”…..Just Beautiful how God/ Universal Intelligence put it all together in such colorful ways…They all Carry the essence of Eternal Life, Truth and Love…they all speak of maya/devil/ animal magnetism/ (The powerless pretender force that seems so powerful)- a false power which we must handle so that it does not handle us blindly, as if we are puppets on a string..For sure it is God’s play, but In Truth it has always been a beautiful play for each individual, never once have we strayed from the Infinite Father/Mother Love of Divine Eternal Intelligent Being ……..

Sorry you can’t play the song. That could of course have many reasons. If you have someone to sort it out for you there it is the best.
It could be as simple as that the sound is turned off or, more difficult, that you have to configure your sound card in the laptop.

Exactly, John. It’s never going to be exactly the same for everyone. Spirit is TOO creative to offer up a cookie-cutter, dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s experience for everyone. For me, that would be mistaking the map for the territory, and it still wouldn’t account for the she or he who never was a seeker, and stumbled onto enlightenment, anyway. Don’t know if “surrender” is the right word. I know it’s been used to reconcile. In the willingness to lose everything (viewpoints, world views, tribal influences, conditioning, etc.) the container is filled anew. We’re all energy containers.

Nothing left to lose in a way implies something to be gained. They’re both opposite sides of the same coin. Which is the launchpad for transcendence.

Misogyny is a hatred of women. Throughout Paul’s epistles he portrays women as being subservient, or second class citizens. I just find it odd that an ‘enlightened woman” woyld use his writings as a reference, especially when a “wholly integrated” human being has a healthy balance of both male and female qualities.

Let me make clear on the words know and think…

Know is…Knowing is being..To Know is to understand. Now God is All- knowing. Therefore Man has no need to think.
Man can not think with the Mind of God. Man is the functioning of the Mind that is God. As long as we think we are persons, we must think, because it is natural to that state of thought. Once one finds out to be divine idea, at that point one stops thinking–one is no longer required to think because knowing is the natural state of man. Then let us leave the basis of belief that we are thinkers, and let us unite with the One Mind, and let Mind express itself, reveal itself…

Mind is present and expressing itself, and this might seem to appear as what the world calls thinking, but the alert individual is never fooled. He knows it is not thinking. He knows Mind is intelligently self-expressing, and that is Knowing!

There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so. This is not an absolute statement in Truth. But we can call it an unfolding step towards the Truth, for as one transcends all mortal thinking of human good and bad, one understands that Only Good is….. Good understood in the Light of Pure Consciousness, Pure Being, and Pure Knowing. Pure Consciousness is not nothing for it is Everything, Eternally Good and beautiful. All suffering is an illusion and all personal sense is an illusion even in the name of good, and we lose the false personal sense in the name of good and all suffering, as we awaken in the Pure Consciousness of Spirit, One Supreme divine Mind Creative, God /Good, Living and Being….. It is true that human thoughts, good and bad are nothing for they are temporal illusions, like a mirage of water appearing in the dessert, and disappearing yet with no True Existence or Real Substance….
It is equally True and only True that God’s Thoughts are always Eternally Good and Pure, The Real Substance and True Existence …

Why are we impregnated with all the negative in our world nowadays by all the media?

You have to be completely above this to not get touched by it.

I can’t, as yet. I am not a hermit.

Am sure I will re-incarnate many times again.
But in this life I have tasted the full taste of unconditional love for myself as a woman with all her negative and her positive sides.
And I am accepted the way I am.

And women are totally different from men.

I have two female and two male grandkids. I see here two totally different kind of beings.

At this moment in time, guess 50-50 is all I can reach.

Hope someday will reach the full 100% 🙂

Something else came to my thought, from one of my greatest friends in Mind- Sri Yukteswar.

Knowledge of evolution, life, and dissolution thus leads to complete emancipation from the bonds of Maya, delusion. Beholding the self in the Supreme Self, man gains eternal freedom.

When I read the question and read Deepak’s answer I recalled a citation from Science and Health with Keys to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy…it is only because this came to mind that I share it now as my sincere contribution to this instance. I realize that the words that I am about to use are not the acceptable words of this new age anymore, so it seems, but the timeless Truth is always Truth regardless of the age in which it is written….Hope it is helpful and understandable.

The atonement of Christ reconciles man to God, not God to man; for the divine Principle of Christ is God, and how can God propitiate Himself? “Christ is Truth”, which reaches no higher than itself. The fountain can rise no higher than its source. Christ, Truth, could conciliate no nature above his own, derived from the eternal Love. It was therefore Christ’s purpose to reconcile man to God, not God to man. Love and Truth are not at war with God’s image and likeness. Man cannot exceed divine Love, and so atone for himself. Even Christ cannot reconcile Truth to error, for Truth and error are irreconcilable. Jesus aided in reconciling man to God by giving man a truer sense of Love, The divine Principle of Jesus’ teachings and this truer sense of Love redeems man from the law of matter, sin, and “death” by the law of Spirit—The Law of divine Love
