Lastly, if I must say from experience that until one is abstinent from those food products aggitating the addictive process on the physiological level, it is hardly possible to know or trust what you are reading from your body and it's needs.
I have been in recovery for 18 years and have found a 12 step program to help with the spiritual accountability when it comes to the motives behind food with those afflicted with addiction. It also is suggested to know that refined sugar, wheat and flour products continue the physiological rumination manifested in cravings leading to binges as is with alcohol is to an alcoholic. Without taking those foods out of the food plan that aggitate the physiological disposition as with those pre-disposed to this disorder, the food addict will continue to battle the cravings thus the mental and emotional stability will always be compromised leaving one to not have the ability to apply the suggested solutions.
