My wife needs more companionship than I am able to give her . She keeps on saying that I am not able to connect with her. I know that I love her . She is expressive and impulsive and I am calm & cool ( little bit too much sometimes ) . How do I connect . She does not have good relationship with her in – laws and had had a poor relationship with parents . I have to think before I speak as she can misinterpret things I said and always thinks that someone is judging her .

“as imperfect as it may be” … I found since I became open to the imperfections of myself, my partner and our relationship there was a huge relief for both of us. By no means is life perfect now but working through it tends to be a little easier… Good luck to you, what Deepak advises is right on point 🙂

Lessons are repeated until learned. Today I can either continue to march along with the same ideas running through my head about what I think I know, resulting in the same action, or I can make a conscious effort to question my own ideas. When I search in myself I find answers and change.
