I want to thank you for posting this as well. I had a similar situation (the man I was with lost his battle with cancer and died) happen three months ago. I struggle now with all of your same fears as well as the emotional pain of him dying. Even though I have read so many books and have the support of people around me, but none of it prepared me for the indescribable pain. I needed to read what you wrote because I needed some more light to guide me through the dark tunnel I am feel I am walking through. Thank you for that.

Don't try and learn how to process pain but rather realize it is an illusion. The soul does not know pain as you describe. Learn who you really are in God. You are God's perfect idea and there is no such thing in Truth, called emotional pain.
