When I worked in the intensive care unit at times I had to call family members “nicely” tell them their loved one was dying and to come to the hospital. Whenever someone is driving erratic on the roads, cuts me off etc.. I always think of the people I had to call and wonder if that driver is one of them. I say a prayer for them just in case they are hurting, trying to get to their loved one to say one last “I love you”.

I know what you mean. I read a “spiritual book”, meditate, and then get on the road a flip someone off for tailgating me. It’s like two steps forward and one back.

Sometimes I feel that impatience on the jostling streets of NYC and on public transportation. I have to remind myself that I am the only one responsible for where I am, and then going deeper realize that God is guiding all, and see God in all. It doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t like to be in a differenct situation, but it does reveal to me another aspect of God.

Anger thoughts are erroneous and not a reflection of your true self, understanding and patient thoughts are a reflection of the higher intelligence of Mind
