One night a man was crying Allah! Allah!
His lips grew sweet with praising,
until a cynic said, “So!
I’ve heard you calling out, but have you ever
gotten any response?”

The man had no answer to that.
He quit praying and fell into a confused sleep.
He dreamed he saw Khidr, the guide of souls,
in a thick, green foliage.

“Why did you stop praising?” “Because
I’ve never heard anything back.”

“This longing you express
is the return message.”

The grief you cry out from
draws you toward union.

Your pure sadness
that wants help
is the secret cup.

Listen to the moan of a dog for its master.
That whining is the connection.

There are love dogs
no one knows the names of.

Give your life
to be one of them.

G wrote: "These citations from Mrs. Eddy came to my thought just now…now meaning this morning or this morning meaning now….you decide

“Animals and mortals metaphorically present the gradation of mortal thought, rising in the scale of intelligence, taking form in masculine, feminine, or neuter gender. The fowls, which fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven, correspond to aspirations soaring beyond and above corporeality to the understanding of the incorporeal and divine Principle, Love
God is the Life, or intelligence, which forms and preserves the individuality and identity of animals as well as of men”.

Well, she decided with this interpretation, right? Doesn't make it true for me or you. The interpretation is what made her day worthwhile. Nothing more, nothing less.

I enjoyed YOUR thoughts on what you read this morning.

Can celestial knowledge be used on an overcast night? I'd have GPS as a backup. :)

I was just thinking, most dogs can’t draw an elephant, most human beings have yet to make a birds nest as precise and as perfectly as the birds do…. Airplane pilots don’t normally fly a plane without material instruments or fly with the same direct knowledge as the birds do…. Though being a sailor I do know we can utilize celestial navigation…Anyway, these are just some thoughts that came to mind this morning after reading this post….

K,

I am just looking at my dog and can see his thinking eyes. They say: "To chase or not to chase balls? What is nobler - to talk about balls or to talk about right and wrong? Who wins? Who loses? What is the topic today? What was yesterday? Anyone remembers? What is the high road? What is the doggie road? Is there a high road for dogs? It seems no one cares, especially the ones who seem to care... time to sleep..."

He is asleep. Deep asleep. It is dark outside.

K,

I read your comments to my dog. He agrees with you - "no one should charge or collect donations for spiritual initiations." - he said. I had to apologize for suggesting doggie bones as a donation.

And you are right again - my dog will not chase your golf balls. I have discovered that these days he tends not to find them just because he has lost interest in balls in general. But here he is - he finally found a forum that brings the spark back into his eyes. It is like he lost and found his family again.:)

For good bye he sends love to all.

K,

I do not know what kind of balls you use, but my dog prefers tennis balls. They are usually empty and very bouncy and the right size. Can send you the brand name - if you want to try them.

Yes, you enjoy your day too. Nice connection we made here. :) Nice we found we have a common friend too - AUM. Thanks G.

No, there are no limit on posts that I'm aware of. Sometimes when posting the emoticons too quickly, you'll get an error message and may have to wait a few minutes.

I hope if I ever lose my balls some honest person will find them, and take them to the Lost and Found. Then again, they may wind up in the possession of one of those lovely feminists; and goodness knows what will become of them, then. I mean, what exactly would a feminist be willing to do with a sleeve full of Titleists, anyway? :)

I mean, what exactly would a feminist be willing to do with a sleeve full of Titleists, anyway? 🙂

K,

My dog has discovered a new spiritual practice these days. Every time he cannot find his ball, he tells a joke. Everyone laughs then and no one cares if the ball is found. It always works. You might want to explore that PATH. :)

My dog might initiate you into that PATH for free. Maybe just for a few doggie bones - suggested donation. :)

G,
AUM and I are good friends. Small world.

I just told my dog about the posts here (did not mention about reading his journal, shhhh).
He barked approvingly.
He has something to share about right and wrong. He is an old dog, getting wise and has opinions these days.
So here he is: grrrrr, au, au, owwww, aum, grrrrr....
I will translate for him: Right is when there is food, people are nice with you, and there is lots of yard space to run. Wrong is when people kick you, tell you that will take you for a walk and then they do not, and when you are left alone for long long time without a chance for a walk outside and then yelled at that you peed on the floor.

K, my dog is into Thich Nhat Hanh too. He likes playing with his balls and sometimes he finds them, but sometimes he does not. With age he tends not to find them. So Thich Nhat Hanh brought him comfort - it is OK to be a loser and that life can be lived 200% when one is just as happy with losing as with winning. So he is at peace now. Aging has its blessings. That was his message in translation.

He has a lot more to say. He wants to share here stories about his peace and wonders if there is a limit on the number of posts. He does not mind moving to another topic if there is a limit. He says he loves you all. BARK BARK...

Today I came across the diary my dog is keeping. He writes in it that he has embraced his living situation with me. Most of all he likes the challenges. They have made him more of a dog. He often glimpses at himself in the mirror and sees more of a dog there (as per diary). He seems very grateful and dreams about the day of attaining higher consciousness and deserving being my dog. For right now what brings him most peace and harmony is BARKING. He just loves barking. At least that is what he shares in confidence in his diary. I guess, I was not supposed to read it... Oh well, no one is perfect (though he thinks I am perfect - especially when I feed him and take care of him. Ow, ow dogs! We know what they care about.) ;)

Yes, it was a wonderful evening. I'm telling ya, I've been to a lot of concerts in my life. They are the hottest sounding group of musicians I have ever heard.

Thich has been grabbing my attention of late...

I enjoyed reading about your horse, Pal. I wouldn't know the first thing about training a horse. I love to ride, though. Have been doing so since '73. A few friends from out West took me out to ride, and I was hooked. Lot's of horses in this neck of the woods, too.

Ok, a page out of Thich's book. It's titled-

Ending the Day

The day is ending,
our life is one day shorter.
Let us look carefully at what we have done.
Let us practice diligently,
putting our whole heart into the path of meditation.
Let us live deeply each moment in freedom,
so time does not slip away meaninglessly.

I like your- OW! It reads very Aretha, or Gladys Knight-like.

Still hearing the melody…..I am thinking you had a wonderful evening at the concert…

Mindfulness, yes!!

Interesting, I have some of his quotes in my file……
“When you love someone, the best thing you can offer is your presence. How can you love if you are not there?”

The first time I had ever heard of Thich Nhat Hanh was when I was out sailing for a year.

It was no coincidence that sailing out on the blue waters brought me in touch with mindfulness. The activity of sailing, naturally forces one, in a good way, to be mindful. The vessel tips, the lift comes, sails trimmed perfectly, Mindful at the helm, bow pointed at the sweet spot, SSShhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, … I am in the flow. OW……….as you would say…

That is why I like horse training too……speaking of which, Paladin was given to me 3 months ago. He had never been ridden or ever handled that much. He was very skittish and scared to be away from the herd and to be around people. Yet I could see his gentle kindness and made the decision to take him home and train him in a natural way that he could relate to, and even enjoy the process. He is like a different horse now, calm and trusts me as his friend to ride him now. He loves having a job to do and keeping busy. It is a very fulfilling harmonious activity and we always leave things on a good note….. Being taken away from the herd the first time was tough on him at first, but he has discovered there is more to eating grass and just hanging around other horses…..There is life after life, even for a horse….
Speaking of which, I am going to go be with him now….OW

Ps to your pre-ps, and ps...

I'm moving along with Thich Nhat Hanh's- Peace Is Every Breath right now, if for no other reason but to supplant, fertilize, and grow the flower of mindfulness. Don't know that Science and Health With Keys to Scripture is coming into view on the horizon, or not, but as you are a tenacious sower of seed- I'll try not to have too foolish a look on my face should it happen to do so.

I, too, have had a few encounters in Consciousness with Dr. Chopra. The three (such an interesting number) which come immediately to mind all have their origins in and around meditation.

The dude certainly does get out and about, doesn't he? :)

Okay, some life-long friends will be arriving on the edge of town anytime now. It's kind of tricky getting to the house, so I'm meeting them in town, and we'll caravan back out here. It's been a fun morning into afternoon.

What a wonderful way to kick off this summer season today will have been. I've even gotten the laundry done! :

Yes Dr.Chopra may have been the One that understanding came through for you, sort of speak.. but for me it was several teachers who made clear what came through myself....if I could say it that way. Yogananda too is a good guide as is Mrs Eddy and there are others. Then again are there really others, not really...On a recent post Deepak was talking about diversity...and this comes to mind now when I think of how God expresses Good through all of us in many different ways...In this experience we are all teachers and students of the One God. All individual natures in One God. I know I am not telling you anything you don't know already, just sharing....One God

"God is our best friend and sharing God makes us all friends in God"...

I do know that this is a site representing Dr Chopra's teachings but his teaching are from the same essence of One God.
Also I don't know if you have read through Mrs Eddy's Science and Health with Keys to the Scripture and if you haven't I am not expecting you too, but she has one of the most misunderstood teachings and yet one of the most profound. She teaches a healing Science that is Pure and offers its rightful place in God's infinite unfoldment. She offers the Holy comforter and an option to awaken through Christ Science instead of suffering....WE don't have to suffer to awaken and live happy and healthy now, and this is the message for the future ages.....Mrs.Eddy does not take away from the teachings of Dr.Chopra but is in the unfolding harmony with them. The advanced Intelligence in its Father Mother expression, in my view the best of east and the west, north and south for that matter, walking together in unity of Good.....

Lot's of clarity in your last offering (you snuck it in as I was responding to the previous post). Nothingness has never really been a misconception on this end. A trusted guide like Dr. Chopra, the practice of meditation , and its ripening, becomes a trusted ally with regard to nothingness morphing into everything-ness. I liken it to a barn collapsing, then being hauled away. It's that expanse of space which remains, and the stone within what remains of the foundation standing silent, sentry-like, bearing witness to ITs stilled anew, once barn-like existence. Even That which observes it all is ninety-nine.nine percent empty space.

Kinda fun to "think" about on a solitary walk down a winding country road.

Good stuff. I'm well. On we go...

G

I find myself in such an expansive frame of reference this morning I can almost feel the melody floating around the lyric, and the voice moving it all as One.

There is just something about the human voice in the throes of a song, fully present within the lightness of spirit, flowing into and then out of the empty spaces between each heartfelt note. It may be the purest form of human expression, encompassing everything, and nothing, the temenos within a succession of twice-fleeting moments.

I hope she continues to sing, and is always in awe of the 'original notes' when they arrive.

The world has a longing for artists.

(I was just reading online that Bob's son played saxophone with the band's horn section, while his daughter sang with the female backup singers on one of his songs in the final performance in, Detroit. I wonder what the oldest granddaughter and her boyfriend (both artistic, musically inclined types) will think should it happen again tonight? I'm not going to tell them the possibility exists. I'll simply enjoy their reaction as it unfolds. They'll be a few rows below ours.) :)

Have a great weekend!

The misconception of nothingness has been the culprit of many dark nights for many sincere spiritual seekers, my little ole self included. As we awaken to Life in God we find out that Pure Consciousness is All in all, and that the pure essence of Consciousness is indeed “something” something full , something Pure and eternally Grand. Who truly awakened could call God/Life, Pure Consciousness, nothing. The Awe inspiring Revelation which truly makes all things new and beautiful is to realize that the Pure Essence of Life is everything you are. This realization expands to knowing the “nothingness” of death, sickness and discord. If upon the screen of my consciousness I see what appears as sickness or unhappiness, The Truth of who I am, namely Pure Consciousness quickly dissolves the nothingness of the appearing sickness or the invisible sense of unhappiness into its native nothingness….Healing is really the revelation of your Pure Sense of Conscious Self. And that Revelation my reveal itself to you many times in a so called day- 24/7 equals the eternal Pure moment of Now

K, Yes enjoy your concert tonight.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts too. Some years ago while I was still living in Florida my daughter came to visit me and we wrote a song called "Living Through a Dream"
We might change the name now, to "Living"

I will send you the lyrics. It has been a while now since we wrote that song, but it is here somewhere and I will send it to you if she doesn't mind...

It starts out....Out from the magic mystery land, a star fell in my hand.....

My daughter has a beautiful voice and she sang that song at a recording studio and the they loved it and said it tells a story and makes you think deeply....They asked us if we wanted to write songs for them, but we didn't feel inclined to do that. We just wanted to write that one song together.....

Yes the aborigines are very intuitive

Oh, man, am I going to enjoy, Mieke! You know, I tried to get tickets for his April 2nd performance here. They sold out in, like, 8 minutes. So, I may, or may not have mentioned this to whatever it IS who was doing the listening. Then, one day I was returning from town, about a month later, and as I walked through the living room, in THAT moment, there was a commercial on the telly announcing this 2nd show. Hmmm, thought "I"...

The great thing about it, now, is by going and through the sheer pleasure of participating in what might just be the final "Live" performance, I get to say thank you, in my own unique way, for all the great rhythms, the back-beat, and the lyrics of a lifetime. I mean, what are the odds of this all falling into place like this?

When the house lights go out, and the stage lights come to life, and that explosion of sound reverberates through that arena from the audience as the band takes the stage, my heart is going to be pounding a primordial rhythm...and at some point, 13-14,000 people are going to be singing along, as One voice, lights flickering from lighters, and cell-phones. A seamless wholeness undulating with no well-defined edges in time and space....

It's going to be a real Love-fest tonight. It's time to dance! :)

G

The journey for me is about traveling in the dream time because, for the most part, it's what we have to work with. It could be said that there are worse things than traveling on the backs of our muses- music, beauty, poetry, our hands in the earthiness, quietly sharing the same space, empowering others, love, whatever and wherever we may find them along the way. I suppose there could be references to falling or rising warriors intertwined with the choices we make, directing where to go, enjoying or not enjoying the ride, poised or unpoised for whatever is next in the journey as the inner energies awaken.

Everything is either moving toward or away from nothingness, at times beyond thought, consciously or unconsciously. Life, death, creation and destruction- this is the world I find myself in. I want my life to echo these "thoughts," like art. I do not wish it to be rote, as though memorizing a map. Why would I want it to be that way? It goes against the flow if everything is in a state of flux, changing and reforming. There, too, is a sense of decay tagging along with life, and that is the friction, though, not overwhelming the sense of well-being. I understand nothing is permanent here, and nothing stays the same, yet, there can still be found a freshness in every unfolding moment.

This life also expresses the thoughts and feelings of the human condition. There's a beauty in the malformed transitioning into something other, and with it, an acceptance of the inevitable. I AM doing the work of our time, for our time, and strangely enough- I am not the doer. I love the mystery of it all, and without That provocation, it could quickly become mundane. I remember when this was so.

So, on we go, discussing the works, experiencing the chance encounters with others who see the world differently than we do, creating new time lines with every choice. Breathing in, and breathing out. Awareness and Presence, ebbing and flowing. There are many points of reference for continuing fruitful dialogue, and That is as it will be in an ever expanding universe, who's origins have no beginning, nor end. God revealing God, to God.

The answer is in your question. Have I?

Dear G,

You probably are correct that your vision is the ultimate.

I am on my path in my own labyrinth to always be allowed to arrive in the middle, receive insights and walking back to the entrance/exit again.

This is the way I see the continuous cycle in my life which I compare with the cycles in nature.

This natural cycle is endless and repeats itself in reincarnation after reincarnation and I consider myself a true part of it.

The Universe somehow is with me with this vision as it fulfills my every need.

Am doing it my way. It may not be your way but I am happy with it.
Instead of suffering I have discovered the good way in life and the ability to always heal myself in every creative way needed.
I am my own source and destiny with a free will to accompany me :)

Dear Kshatriya,

It is good to read that chances for every One in the U.S. have improved. I agree with you that it needs the correct skills to fill in the correct job.
What I like about President Obama is that he seems to be able to replace himself in someone elses way of expressing him/herself. And that he really listens! Not only to his direct advisors but also to every voice that can reflect his inner truth.
I am convinced that the American Spring has already begun :)
Wish you a steady but solid grow!

I don't "believe" any such thing regarding 'self realization.' I'm simply relating what's taking place along the way. You're drawing far too many conclusions about others to even catch a whiff of what you claim to be resting in.

"Think" about it. How can one conclude anything about something which has no beginning, nor an end? Your assessments about IT are too linear-logical to have any real value.

Having said that, I would also like to say that I do not at all resent criticism, even when, for the sake of emphasis, it for a time parts company with "Reality."

Fire away! :)

Mieke,
That is good you are trying your best to make your vision work….Most visionaries are doing the same thing, “trying” to make their vision work, while God’s work is already done. Yet it is best to keep yourself occupied in your highest sense of what is right and serve in an honest way according to what you deem as good and useful until the true dawning in consciousness is upon you. Infinite unfoldment of God’s Creation is omnipresent, instantaneous and effortless. Yet it is true we keep making the effort until we realize we can rest in God being….
Divine Consciousness is the only Real intelligence there is..In this human experience are you now trying to make your heart beat? Are you trying to make your hair grow? No, it is effortlessly happening through an already established Divine Cause.
Khstraiya believes that chaos and friction brings one to self realization, while you believe that is through trying to make your visions a reality. In the mean time you both feel that you are enlightened enough to be your authentic mortal self……You speak of standing in the middle, the middle of what? The middle of what is real and unreal? Where does that leave you? On solid ground? Or are you floating in the ether?
Man is not the creator, God is, and God’s Creation is complete. That is where I rest. My vision in this moment is clear, I am not trying to see it, or trying to manifest it, I realize it now.
Intelligent eternal Life, namely God, does not require time or visions or friction to become Itself and find true expression. It is the Omni-Power of Pure Consciousness enabling man to do the will of wisdom, for God’s biddings are always enabling, it is the power to think, to act , to speak, so that life is fruitful and joyous. It is the innate capacity that man already possesses to act in harmony with divine power. Pure Conscious Being is the only source of power; Omni-Thought is the only force. Therefore, those who have turned to the fountainhead of Being, Rest and Live in Being…. The One Supreme Being which every man is the manifest life of, is not trying to “Be” through making visions happen, or trying to “Be” through fighting conflicts and believing chaos as a necessary path to enlightenment.
God Consciousness is the only Cause….Eternally Causing you and all life to harmoniously and effortlessly Be….

Mieke

I hear ya'! One of the first things we did within our local Democratic Party, after a complete restructuring as a result of ineffective leadership, was rewrite the by-laws for the Executive Board, and Executive Committee (8 members total). Back in the 70's, they were written with an eye toward equality (equal numbers of males and females). So, if the Chairperson was a male, the vice-chair had to be a female. It sounds fair, but it doesn't work. I adamantly pointed this out, and explained why the by-laws were antiquated. The by-laws as written really had nothing to do with someone's potential for leadership, or capacity to serve. They were simply appointments based on some skewed, conceptual hodgepodge regarding equality.

It was interesting how it all worked out after they were finally rewritten. All members of the party now had a vote (The Exec. Board and Committee were only allowed to vote under the old scheme), and the Executive Board, and Committee now more realistically reflect the membership's structural makeup. Women are in the majority within the membership (almost a 70-30 ratio), and I am happy to report that women now occupy six of the eight seats on the Executive Board, and Committee. As a result, the party has grown in membership in a few short months, and we are more active within the community. Our Chairwoman successfully navigated the reapportionment of voting districts within the County (post mid-term election), which eliminated one opposition party seat on the Board of Commissioners. Other members are seriously considering running for office in the next election. We're finally moving forward.

In my closing statement regarding the outdated by-laws, I shared this with the membership: "Equality is not about equal ratios. It's not about gender. It's about acknowledging another person's potential, and empowering them to fulfill it."
=================================

G

Gosh, I don't know what to say. I was simply writing from the point of an observer. For me, the day was a poignant one. On the drive home I found myself reflecting on our country's change of perspective. I'm not so sure there will be gravesites for Iraqi, or Afghan prisoners in our National Cemeteries, not in this day and age. Places like Guantanamo, or Bagram now appear to be the new norm. Corporate profits trump compassion, and funding for education. Our military industrial complex has become intolerable, and its intentions- dishonorable. Dr. Chopra is right. It's time for an American Spring.

Enjoy the day!

Thanks Kshatriya for this story.
There is indeed a deeper meaning behind this.
When one believes in reincarnation one also believes in karma.
It is given to us in these days, by means of the Internet to explore the wide innernet we all have in our collective memories.

The female creativity has been ignored for quite some time after the matriarchal society faded into the patriarchal society.
Just like science and religion are still not truly equal, the above also still exists in a contradiction.

It is now for the first time in our evolution, in my humble view, we get the chance to make a breakthrough.
The Internet makes this all possible.

Me am doing my dharma in this without any judgment whatsoever.
I believe all the old 'values' will slowly but surely vanish as we will build a complete other society based on complete other values.

Don't ask me to be specific because I am just one little tiny part of the whole.
Am doing what I am best in and every other tiny part is doing the same.
Together we will make it happen!

Also Mieke I understand what your trying to say about getting back what you give, but When Jesus Christ was giving Truth, was he getting back that from mortals? You can not expect an un- enlightened one to reflect back what is in your enlightened understanding- Perhaps that is why Christ said, Forgive them they know not what they do....Instead we see through the mirage of mortals and there we rest in the secret place of the most high...where no judgment exist...

In this human experience we judge for what is right. Or do we just keep letting the wars and violence happen, if so why would Deepak write books on Peace and why would he write articles that offer his sense of right to the public. Freedom is not really free in this experience unless it is guided by wisdom and goodness....Again where do you draw the line? Do you have your feet in both worlds? Are you dreaming and awake at the same time? Do you really think that mortals can go around just doing as they please? Judge righteous judgment unless you are prepared to really demonstrate that you live entirely in the Spiritual and can prove to mankind that immortality is a fact.....Yes it is profound in deed. Ultimately Man is immortal and murder is erroneous but I will do what is in my sense as right according to God....

Understood, Mieke. It IS friction which creates the diamond in nature. It just doesn't make sense that it would different for us as human beings. We are Nature.

I liked your reminisce about the post war. It's the reason why I went to the National Cemetery about 40 miles south of here to remember a loved One. Bud, as he was known to us, was one of those who fought in Europe. He had the greatest laugh I've ever heard in my life, and he didn't dole it out like a miser. I'm sure it had something to do with seeing the brutality of war, and as a result he was able to fully embrace his love for life, and the freedom that so many take for granted. I miss him. He was mischievous, like me. :)

Interestingly enough, his grave site is next to the plot of grave sites of German POW's who were sent here and held in this country after being captured. I'm guessing they simply never returned home after the war. We've been going down there for 21 years now, and today was the first time I had seen anyone placing flowers beside a grave there. She was a rather tall woman, quite thin, very well dressed with a scarf upon her head. Probably in her nineties. It, too, was a touching moment as I had always wondered if anyone besides the cemetery workers even cared they were there. We waved to one another as we trekked back to our cars. She had a very nice smile. It was a nice visit today.

Life IS a circle.

thanks kshatriya for two other profound songtexts of
Bob Seger.
Many classic songs have been written about the several 'wars' after the big worldwar II.

Europe has experienced worldwar II and many countries were devastated. I remember my parents and their generation were very happy the English and American troups were able to end it.
In a part of my country no food was available anymore after the peace treaty. Through the Marshall aid many people were so grateful for the food and all the help the U.S. offered us. We had to rebuild our society, and we did. This is my deepest memory. I was born right after this war in september 1945. As a baby I was held in the arms of an English soldier who was the best friend of my mam and dad.
We had nothing during that time but managed to build our society into what it is today.

thanks kshatriya for two other profound songtexts of
Bob Seger.
Many classic songs have been written about the several ‘wars’ after the big worldwar II.

Every generation has its own ups and downs to deal with.

And, of course, on a lighter note- Noah, circa 1969 (I call it the detachment song) :)

Kick off your shoes,
throw away your blues
You paid your dues, Noah

Summer is here,
why interfere?
Go drink a beer, Noah

You must realize that YOU need something
Resynthesize YOUR OWN ego
You must recognize that life's just a circle
So let's go on with the show

Hoist up your sail,
go kill a whale
Don't look so pale, Noah
Noah
Noah
NOAHHHHHHH

...Two...Three....Four

La la lala
La la lala
La la lala
Noah

La la lala
La la lala

Noah

Now let's go on with the show

Kennan was right,
you're black and white
You're left and right, Noah
Remember old Cain,
it's all in vain
It's starting to rain, Noah

Noah

Thanks! Yeah, great song. The lyrics touch me whenever I hear it played. He's had so many like that. Great songwriter.

I remember back in the 60's when he came out with 2+2 (also on youtube). One of the first anti-war songs of the era. The neighbor's son came home a year later paralyzed from the waist down. The lyrics really hit me that day as his parents lifted his wheelchair up the front steps and into the house. The song is about one of his high school friends...

Yes it's true I am a young man
but I'm old enough to kill
I don't wanna kill nobody
but I must if you so will
And if I raise my hand in question
you just say that I'm a fool
Cause I got the gall to ask you
Can you maybe change the rules
And you stand and call me upstart
Ask what answer can I find,
I ain't sayin' I'm a genius
2+2 is on my mind

Well I knew a guy in high school
just an average friendly guy
And he had himself a girlfriend
and you made them say goodbye
Now he's buried in the mud
of a foreign jungle land
And his girl just sits and cries
she just doesn't understand
So you say he died for freedom
well if he died to save your lies
Go ahead and call me yellow
2+2 is on my mind

All I know is that I'm young
and your rules they are old
If I've got to kill to live
then there's something left untold
I'm no statesman I'm no general
I'm no kid I'll never be
It's the rules not the soldier
that I find the real enemy

I'm no prophet I'm no rebel
I'm just asking you why
I just want a simple answer
why it is I've got to die
I'm a simple minded guy
2+2 is on my mind

Mieke

Yeah, I'm going to have a damn good time Saturday night, for sure. As I understand it, from all the media surrounding this tour, the Saturday night show is the final tour stop. It just might be the last time he and the Silver Bullet Band ever perform live. And I just happen to have tickets! OW!!! It's going to be a great night of great fun!! Rock n' Roll!!!!

(Sorry I'm late responding, just got back from our National Cemetery where we place a wreath for a dearly loved One)

OK BAND!! READY?! Second chorus for G, and Mrs Eddy...two, three four

Lady from a church bizarre
Was smiling from her head to her feet
All the way down to her feet
that she couldn't see
She started speaking her peace
I said "Stop, Wait a minute, please
Before you start talkin'
I wish you'd please listen to me."

'Cause it sounds like a long song comin'
And though some of the things you might say,
honey, will be true
It still sounds like a long song comin'
And baby, listen lady,
I got better things to listen to

And buddy, listen buddy,
We've got better things to listen to

OW! :)

Hello G,

Getting back to the subject of this post, did you read the reply of Deepak properly?

Those who understand this profoundly know that mortal man cannot judge lest he be judged.

What one radiates is always returned to oneself.

I would suggest you to read the Arthur saga from a female point of view:

G Wrote: "No I don’t need any info. I am free and you know it too. But thank you for offering. I remember sharing some conversations with you and you told me that you had Yogananda books in your library. Yogananda is my Friend too. Did you see his pictures? Most of them he doesn’t smile either, but don’t you just love him. In fact, don’t you just Love everyone……Love is the most innate feeling. It is the most real part of life that I know of. I love you too K, and I mean it.
Have a wonderful evening…Peace!!"

What a surprise. Well founded responses to your remarks about my confusion concerning CS and Scientology, and you'll have nothing to do with them. Denial?

Last evening was wonderful. Thank you. This morning is wonderful, too.

Yes, Yogananda is a good read from time to time. In fact, during that conversation a few years ago I posted one of his aphorisms because in the discussion taking place you were in the throes of it. It was titled- Spiritual Melancholia, and it mysteriously disappeared within moments of being posted, along with a few other responses to the futilities being concocted and expressed by your mind on the thread.

Babbling on about your love for me, or, for that matter, anyone else doesn't make you a loving person. You just "think" it does because that's how you've trained your mind. To render conclusions. Nothing more than a new collaboration between the mind, which must be transcended, and your illusory self. Your mind can manipulate it's own data forever, like reorganizing a filing cabinet. But it's not different data, just differently organized. You've just shown us how it works in the post being responded to.

Here's something to enjoy with your morning coffee-

Faith is a withholding of conclusion, so that you allow what is to arise. -Adyashanti

Have a fun day! Hopefully you will not be stepping into any more horseshit. :)

It was titled- Spiritual Melancholia, and it mysteriously disappeared within moments of being posted, along with a few other responses to the futilities being concocted and expressed by your mind on the thread.

Babbling on about your love for me, or, for that matter, anyone else doesn’t make you a loving person. You just “think” it does because that’s how you’ve trained your mind. To render conclusions. Nothing more than a new collaboration between the mind, which must be transcended, and your illusory self. Your mind can manipulate it’s own data forever, like reorganizing a filing cabinet. But it’s not different data, just differently organized. You’ve just shown us how it works in the post being responded to.

Here’s something to enjoy with your morning coffee-

Faith is a withholding of conclusion, so that you allow what is to arise. -Adyashanti

Have a fun day! Hopefully you will not be stepping into any more horseshit. 🙂

No I don’t need any info.
Have a wonderful evening…Peace!!

"As we empty ourselves…

Discovering the nature of the soul,

Let us do the above and start brand new
Let the past be just that
Don't quote too much and try to be yourself

We are able to create
A new future
You and me

Let's be happy, we are given this opportunity
every day

Am living in the peace of my mind
Just want to be
happy
And wish you all the same!

And that is joy

G wrote (well, copied and pasted...)- "Revelation 12:3 and S&H -The Apocalypse-
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his head.
We may be well perplexed at human fear; and still more astounded at hatred, which lifts its hydra head, showing its horns in the many inventions of evil. But why should we stand aghast at nothingness? The great red dragon symbolizes a lie, —the belief that substance, life and intelligence can be material. The dragon stands for the sum total of human error. The ten horns of the dragon typify the belief that matter has power of its own. (And that life can die)
“The Revelator lifts the veil from this embodiment of all evil, and beholds its awful character, but he also sees the nothingness of evil and the allness of God. The Revelator sees the old serpent whose name is devil or evil; holding untiring watch that he may bite the heel of truth and seemingly impede the offspring of the spiritual idea, which is prolific in health, holiness and immortality”"

Your superstition is quickly becoming "stuporstition." Just so you "know."

BTW
I have seen a picture of Mrs. Eddy that has soul substance with a smile and contentment on her face that words cannot describe…Looking at her picture brings spiritual reality to view…
Mother Theresa too, had a contemplative look to many of her pictures that revealed a real honest love for God. She lived according to her highest sense of right. This is why I so adore her too.
Gandhi didn’t smile often in his pictures either..yet carried a substance of divine love in his pictures that you just could not mistake….
What is it that we see in these pictures, but a reflection of the love that is in our own heart.

I have seen a picture of Mrs. Eddy that has soul substance with a smile and contentment on her face that words cannot describe…Looking at her picture brings spiritual reality to view…

LOL! Your own projections are boomeranging right back at you, G!

I have never posited myself as a teacher. You, on the other hand, could live for twenty more lifetimes trying to escape the residues of your sorely lacking obsession with passing yourself off as a teacher. I'm pretty sure people like you were the target of these words- "Those that can, do. Those that cannot, teach."

Or, "think" they are teachers.

Seriously- is Eddy's lack in the smile department the "real attraction" for you? Take your time and "think" about it.

Khstraiya, you don’t empty other individuals of a so called ego or do them any “Real Good” by pretending to be evil or the advocate of a lie….That is one of the great obstructions in Eastern philosophies. The God Principle is not evil nor pretends to be evil; God is not the doer of evil of the doer of your words on these post… Evil is unreal with no Principle of life to sustain it, and God/Good and harmonious is the Real and only Life, that is Truth. Hit them with a stone attitude and sting the good they speak to see if you can break the individual Man, which is the very life of God, is a great delusion---For God is the one and only Man/ and or Ego, there is. K, you don’t understand Cosmic Consciousness, as you have yet to understand the Christ Mind…
The one thing I really respect about the teachings of Jesus, Mrs. Eddy, Yogananda, Gandhi, and Mother Theresa is the divine Love and Principle they taught and lived by- I met Deepak a long time ago and he had a gentle loving Presence that was real…This is what I see and I perceive it in you too, but you have yet to bring it to the surface of your being on these post, as you like to play a role that you think is teaching people something real…You make fun and are light hearted at times with Mieke, yet her light heartedness is real and authentic while yours is not. Smiles cannot make up for true spiritual authenticity….
Smiling faces don’t reveal the Truth and often are a cover up.

G- Actually, I do not work for the web site.

Yeah, Paul, the old standby for you, G. Paul's misogyny is seen for what it is the world over. Misogyny. It's almost like you're superstitious about keeping his words close at hand, though. Do you cross yourself at least twice when you refer to them?

There really is no evidence that those who object to his delusional ideas have suffered any wrath, fatal or otherwise. To "think" in such a manner is really nothing more than a power leak on the author's, and your part. I'm sure the power leak is by design, too, as a person in possession of it, such as yourself, would be unable to employ their delusion in a stealth-like manner. The hissing from said leak would precede them wherever they go, like a punctured, slowly-leaking, helium-filled balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Which is usually the fate of any windbag, including yourself.

I have to ask. Is there a picture anywhere which shows Mrs. Eddy smiling? If not, is that the attraction? :)
