Ican only speak of my experience, I have loved two woman my x,wife,,,,,,my fionce,,,, neither are with me, i have loved them both ,and continue to love them both, even if we are apart,,,,,love does not die, love does not change it just is,,,,,,J is beautiful, is playful,she reflects the light of god, and iam happy that i have dwelt in it, and i shall do so again

Thank you so much for this question. I had a similar dilemma. What if we know the person is really good for us, but our heart still does not move forward. There is a resistance. A stoppage. I am not sure if that’s a message from the divine saying to move forward, or to continue to consider. Or perhaps, I need to grow some more to a point where I can truly appreciate what I have and take the step.

Thank you I also needed this…many times we over look someone because there is no instant spark..If you get to know someone they are more attractive because if who they realy are. Who someone is on the inside is more important in the long run.

Be reasonable, but not afraid. Romantic chemistry is not just a question of person, but also of moment. Rather than having the “right” person in front of you, you just happened to be in the right moment to perceive everything that you feel. It’s a creation of the ming…and there is nothing wrong with it! Follow your intuition, act fearless but with withdom and remember that every coin has two faces.

And what most call “chemistry” is of course a “chemical” reaction in the body. Chemicals are controlling the brain and consciousness.

1) it might just be sexual. We’re still animals and want to mate. Compatible immune systems for strong offspring drive us nuts to mate. Problem is, that’s probably all that is compatible, and as animals, we’ll want to kill each other soon after the mating.

2) If you feel like you know the person, RUN! How could you possible KNOW a stranger? Easy, something about them reminds you of being at home, comfortable, loved. So, maybe they’re a closet alcoholic like a parent. Or abusive. It’s all home. You are meeting to work out childhood dramas. Are you ready for this?

These two reasons are why 50% of marriages end in divorce and children are treated like ping pong balls as the parents selfishly follow the next chemical reaction. Forget the phycho-bable justification for single parent homes. Let’s end this abuse of children! PLEASE!

So, don’t trust yourself. Self is just ego. Ask your friends you trust with your life if the other person is a healthy match. Trust consciousness and BUILD the chemistry from the mystery of exploring a person you will NEVER know completely, even after 60 years of marriage. Only go out with people you love, not those you want to bring to therapy because THEY are the reason you’re not happy.
