Withought the night stars can't shine. Whithought the shade we cannot be shielded from blinding mid daylight. We are a being life/God created, encasing the most basic polarities, light and dark. Darkness is uncertain, and what is uncertain is movement, flow, life. It is part of us. With ought despair we cannot consieve the concept of hope. It is part of us, it is our nature, and if you deny it, you deny part of yourself. Thus you don't fully accept yourself and ultimately love yourself just as you are, a diamond with many shades of colour. Some warm, some cold, but never the less belonging to you. It is the balance of these energies that defines our successful existence, and that reflects on out external balance of these polarities in our surroundings. Why are we born without seeing our face

I do not speak of light and dark in the same sense that you think of it...LIGHT is Insight, it is understanding. When we understand, where then is the darkness, the shadow...

Gyanama doesn't get what you're saying, John. Hasn't spent enough time in a garden to understand the root of the most beautiful flower lies deep beneath the soil where the light is unable to penetrate. Yet, the flower radiates its beauty.

I once read- a man without a shadow is half a man.

I suppose that applies to women, too, no matter what level they claim to be experiencing...

Good to see you around here, John. I remember you from the other Chopra board.

peace

Now this last comment is the most sensible I have read in a long time here.

Straight to the ground with two feet on it.

Thanks.

It is a little bit like I have written here above about those seasons in Nature.

But you have said it in a very understandable and clear way.

Much obliged!

Everything has a season, trees shed heavy unecessary leaves in autum, to retreat to themselves in the winter, and once healed and renewed, they are reborn, re-bloom in spring, to last the summer and they do it all over again, because it is necessary to clean one self constantly*. Things in winter are not dead, as we may see it. Death is not real, it is transition. So shed your leaves, retreat, lick your wounds, (know that God put you here for a reason, that you are still alive and that it is certainly not to suffer, but spread love and life but to do that you must learn to find this within yourself by whichever way) so that you can begin another stage of your life. It's all right to do it, life is movement, and change, uncertain. Life is not stagnation, routine, or predictable. It is alright and perfectly natural for your soul to want to evolve, so don't be afraid, you have the support of people you don't even know; us :) and that is the beauty of love. you are not meant to stay in a certain way forever, everything has an end, even bad passages, and nothing will repeat twice exactly. So ask yourself your higher self, your heart your soul : do you like this? do you like it, does it make you feel fulfilled? does it make your soul grow and be nurtured? And if the things around you don't seem to be nurturing, is it really a place you can't stand, yet you help the people of it? perhaps is it a matter of seeking new eyes in which to see? or really getting out of the mud pool. It will be hard to confront yourself, and what lies behind your problem, at first, but I swear, it is not impossible. Nothing is impossible. We bind ourselves with obstacles; psychological, emotional and external. There is can't or can, only want or not wanting. If your soul wants to which i really feel it does, you can do this. I too believe in you :)

Amen :)

I am not that wise yet it seems.

Yet I have a truth inside which seems to lie beyond horizon.
I see a glimpse of it and create it for myself in my 3D worlds.

I know that once upon a time I will return there :)

Love you always, in all ways

That is because you are identified with yourself as matter and you believe that pain is a reality instead of understanding that pain can in fact be healed and transcended and not be felt at all. Spirit has no pain. This is the true overcoming that man is faced with. Few that understand this yet, or even want to understand it yet.
Immortal consciousness is not mortal consciousness. Mortal consciousness is error,a false sense of being material, the illusion of being in a solid body that is stuck and limited by it. Immortal consciousness is Life, Truth and Love and has no limitations and is blissfully free from any sense of sickness, discord and or death...

We loose are false sense of being in proportion as we gain the True Spiritual sense of ourself as Spiritual, not material.

Love you too...God is All

How is it that wrong emotions such as violence, which causes emotional pain can be healed? Pain in the body is identified to a false emotion in thought. Banging your hand when seen in the light of Spirit, first would not even happen as there are no accidents in Spirit. The banging of your hand and it's so called pain that seems very real to you is in fact an illusion.

Your material arm does not even know it is an arm. Who or what is it that knows?

Regardless to material/mortal interpretation Truth is Truth, Know the Truth and it shall set you Free and heal all false sense of sickness, discord and false ideas that Spirit, intelligent Life can ever die or be in pain as an absolute reality...

Guess it is here where we differ in seeing things dearest Gyanama.
If I pinch my arm I do feel it.
If I kick my foot against a stone, I do feel it

In this world of duality
One has to live with the body
as a quality
of matter
The body is the temple of the Soul
Here on earth it is our duty to keep it whole
and surely we can do that with this divine guide inside
but to me matter is just as wholy
Jesus went to heaven with his body and his soul
completely whole

Only my interpretation :)

Love you

The body in and of itself has no intelligence to inform one of anything. It is all Mind...Listen to the Soul and the body will automatically comply. Don't get confused with mortal mind seek to find out what the Divine Mind is, as it is the only Mind there is, and it is the Mind of God.../ Universal intelligence in which you live, move and have your being in.
An easy way to say this, is that you are God's Idea, find out what that means....

honey-

I know what you're feeling- I think your soul is telling you that you're ready to face your bulimia problem but I know it is scary to leave your comfort zone, but try.

i know "try" sounds trivial, but you've formed that habit where you're comfortable with being bulimic- because you're relying too much on your soul- u're not listening to your body.

your soul is your mind
your body is your brain

You need to take care of both to feel better.

The challenge, is you gotta figure out how. :)

In nature there are seasons. At this moment we live in the destructive season, winter, in which everything in nature is 'destroyed' in order to fully relive again from the seeds that are immortal.
We humans are a natural part of nature and at the end of this season we notice we are very low on energy.
This effects our body and our mind.
Many animals in nature go for a wintersleep to be totally refreshed in Spring.

It is TIME to completely listen to your body and what it advises you.

The fruits of the seeds you will sow NOW in getting enough rest and take good care of your body
will become visible in Spring again.

AND YOU WILL BLOSSOM LIKE NEVER BEFORE :)

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear you are in such dismay. Reading your words was like reliving my current situation. You expressed so well the feeling of "not feeling", the self-destructive behavior (I binge, I'm not too good at purging, but I fast and occasionally over-exercise, but I think I'm more on the BED side of the spectrum of eating disorders -- whatever the behavior though, it's the guilt and self-hatred that comes with it that makes it so terrible), and the "not caring" and "giving up" part too. Sounds so familiar. I'm stuck in a place right now that has completely killed my soul. I don't see my purpose here and I want to get out so bad but I can't because of my pride, money, ... but more pride... and stubbornness. If you love what you are doing, which you seem to love (helping people), then would changing the location/environment help? Does the pain that comes with the memories follow you, or does it stay in that place you are thinking of getting away from? Do you see a therapist? Have you tried getting treated for your Bulemia? Have you looked into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (I do DBT, but it's more helpful for people with interpersonal skills issues that solve their social anxieties through binging -- not necessarily purging). But I think talking to someone you can give you professional help may be useful. If you can afford to leave where you are, drop everything and just leave, then yes. Actually, I would recommend a break, perhaps? Like a yoga retreat or something like that. Yoga has inspired me a lot, but actually a recent vacation I went on really opened my eyes to the world that I had been missing out on. The world that I missed so much, where I was happy, creative, engaging, loving, and confident. This place that I am at right now has killed all of those good aspects of me. I want to get out, but I can't get myself to do it, because I still "want" this to be right for me, even though I feel with all of my heart and soul that it is not. It is very unfortunate. So please, if you have the courage and the circumstances allow you to take a break from that place that is making you suffer, I would try it. And while you are at it, get some help. Best wishes to you. You can do it. You can get your energy and creativity back. It is still within you. It is waiting for you to awaken it. I believe in you.
