"been questioning my faith"
...well that's a pretty good start. But at 19 perhaps it would be more appropriate to get out there and eat and drink the world...find out what's there ...what you want to do as a job ...what yr values are ...how else can you discover these aspects of yrself if you don't dive into life?

You're only 19 years old and you've asked yourself one of the most important questions! After a long journey of seeking answers you may come to the realization that the question has no meaning, and consequently, all the answers will be void of meaning as well. Put another way; the "unanswerables" are best left unquestioned. Rather than going Out and seeking meaningless words, consider going In and seeking silence.

Religions do contain some spiritual truths, but they are in fact human interpertations of God.

Good, evil, heaven, hell, sins, etc....all those things are once again human interpretations of that which exists beyond our material reality.

Religions can be useful in the sens that they can open one's mind to the possibility that we are far more than just our mortal bodies...but if you really seek deeper truths and a better understanding of what god really is and really wants, I think it's time for you to go beyond what religions have to offer :-)
