Dr Chopra,
I just got through reading your book Perfect Weight and it occurred to me that you may have some thoughts about a problem I have. I have been plagued with a sensitivity to electromagnetic devices and electrical devices. This has severely cutailed my life. Do you have any thoughts on what sort of imbalance I need to be looking at regarding this?

you dislike the personality but you can love the divine spark. It's natural that some people will rub us the wrong way- we aren't perfect. Have compassion for your own judgments and you will automatically be more compassionate to others?

Discernment is necessary in the human experience but when we see something we don't like and detect it as a quality that does not reflect respect then to first see that is OK, but to then follow up with a genuine desire to have that feeling healed is putting you on the right path to finding true compassion for yourself and fellowman---- for the two are One......

All you can do is the best you can at your job. If your job is HELL you have a choice to leave it or deal with it. Back to compassion. . .We found a stray dog. She is sweet but a puppy with a lot of energy. She is aggressive when playing. It is infuriating when she jumps on me, bites and scratches me. It makes me want to kick her off of me. That is MY problem. I dislike it when she does that. But my dislike of her behavior does not mean I have no compassion for her. I have the Frontal Lobes to know that I need to ignore her to correct the problem. Sometimes compassion is ignoring bad behavior. Just because humans have greater frontal lobe capacity doesn't mean they are less deserving of unconditional compassion. Humans deserve the same patience and compassion as dogs.

Your dislike for someone is a judgment. Compassion is non judgment. You reached out to him expecting a result. What result was that? Treating others with respect does not guarantee you will be treated the same. It is your expectations that are the issue. Just be you and accept others as they are and you will be liberated. Much love to you~ Cari
