Hi, what you write about feels to me like resistance to ‘what is’.
I know it sounds cliche, but think about it and see if it rings a bell. If the ‘what is’ is perceived as being separate from who you are, then you will naturally feel resistance or rejection towards it,
or worse, perhaps, you feel trapped by it or into it. From my many experiences in the working world, I would say that ordinarily there will plenty of opportunities to apply spiritual principles and practices throughout the work day. After a hard day of conscious work you can come home and just be, and enjoy silence or whatever rejuvinates you and prepares you for tomorrow’s challenges at the office.
