....and thank you again..

"Peace is the way", and it is the True idea(First Cause) of man's life in God. That is what every man is here to learn and understand, and it seems to me my friend you have learned and understood what I have learned and understood...May every individual learn this eternal Truth and awaken to his true nature in God.

And what is it we have to learn? That a world of relationships in love, peace and harmony was the original idea and purpose for mankind's existence. The relative world(world of relationships) was never intended to mean that relativity had to include wars, sickness, and death,(that is a human invention). No, absolutely not. Man was created as reflections and expressions of God- we are the infinite intelligent individual expressions of the God life fulfilling itself in the manifest world....
Wars, sin, sickness and death are completely erroneous...all illusions that keep man separated from his Maker. It's high time we all awaken and claim our divine original nature in the God(Good)life, and really begin to live the Real life in peace and harmony...

Peace and much love,
A soul mate in God,

In reply to <a href="https://choprafoundation.org/consciousness/india-comes-to-the-white-house-all-at-once/#comment-219">Dr.P.V.Vaidyanathan</a>.

To re- quote you on points, and even scientific principle...

"One of the wisest things that we did as a nation was, not to be provoked and react"

"In order to de-escalate and reduce tensions and to bring about a regression in terrorist activities, someone has to stop reacting"..

This is beautiful, a true idea, and I am so grateful that you shared this.

Gandhi, One of the greatest examples of no-violence certainly demonstrated this Truth you speak of." And not only did he not react to violence, he also gave selfless love in return...

I don't think anything is impossible, and I see all of humanity in their divine image as the embodiments of divine love and harmony...

My friend I fully and unceasingly support you....

Love,

It was very interesting to read your account of the White House dinner and about the new found Indo-US relationships. On the subject of Indo-Pak conflict that you have touched upon, especially about seeking a non-military solution, I would like to highlight some thoughts, at the end of 1 year from the 26-11 terrorist attack in Mumbai.

One year has passed after the 26/11 tragedy, and the papers in India are full of write ups of that fateful day and the aftermath. We may have learnt many lessons, from this tragedy, but no one is talking ( and I wonder how many realise it), that one of the wisest things that we did, as a nation, was not to be provoked and react. It was easy for India to mount an offensive and get carried away by the war mongers, and to attack our neighbour. But the restraint exercised by us has helped. In the last one year, after this incident, the number of terrorist related activities in India----shootings, bomb blasts, suicide bombers, recovery of arms and ammunition etc----has been practically nil. While we might pride ourselves and pat ourselves on our back, saying that we have improved our intelligence and security, all of us know that these measures cannot and will not really prevent a determined terrorist from doing what he wants to do.

It is my opinion and feeling that because, at one level, we accepted the tragedy and went about doing what we should within the framework of our legal system, and because we did not react violently, there has definitely been a de-escalation of tensions from across the border. Invariably, as the US did, if we had reacted with violence, the victims of our violence would want revenge, would cry out for blood. But we did not make anyone suffer, did not make anyone a victim. Perhaps as a result of this, there was no strong retaliation from the opposite side. In this fight against terrorism, the important lesson that this should teach us is that, in order to de-escalate and reduce tensions, and to bring about a regression in terrorist activities, someone has to stop reacting. Someone has to accept what happened, however difficult that may be (I can already hear the cries for blood) and has to take the first step by not reacting. In my opinion, no one is willing to do this. India did this, whether because we are weak willed or because we became more conscious of the futility and wastage caused by violence I don't know, but the results are there for all of us to see.
