This quandary reminds me of what Joanna Macy refers to as the “boring old question” of whether or not people should just work on the inner world of their own psyches or the outer world in which they live and breathe. Of course, she insists, we must do both.

This is about balance. This is about tenaciously discovering who we are (“ripping away at the veil in every moment of our existence,” as Dr. Chopra has taught us) and acting on what we find. This is about our love for ourselves and how we go about giving it to others without reservation- which is the holistic perspective required for manifesting the most creative responses, within this interdependent All-Inclusiveness, amidst this opportunity being afforded us. And it’s going to take a lot of creativity to move forward, in alignment with the birth of this new paradigm. As President Obama said, “The ascent up this mountain will be steep.”

So, who will you be if it all comes tumbling down and you are left standing? Will you be a leader (like Dr. Chopra, or President Obama), or a follower looking for a leader?

It begins with a phone call, a letter written, a knock on a strangers door, or asking your neighbor, “Hey…are you doing ok? If not, how can I help?” It’s about seeing the obstacles before us, and not letting them become larger than we are. If we can allow ourselves to do this, we just may find out we are Immense.

This is the journey. The time is now. Our strength is the love we are open to, flowing with, and willing to give back in thought, word, and deed. In service to others, moment by moment, as though stringing pearls.

It’s about stepping into the unknown…with a willingness, and a trust beyond knowing.

Yes I agree, Obama does understand beyond understanding-

And as a nation of one people we are bent, and as you stated earlier, on our knees, -a time of surrender to higher and wiser ways, A great collective awakening and experience in humility-

As I have stated before and have learned, hope without humility won’t get us very far-

The past years mischief and unruly greedy behavior had it’s disguised purpose I suppose….but if you look at nature, it never has to learn the harsh lesson like we do…

The endowment of free choice certainly has it’s responsibility. It’s best we follow the good ways of living and being, so that we may truly experience Freedom in it’s absolute authenticity-

May we all collectively learn now, that we can live as a peaceful people in tune with universal eternal laws of goodness–

There are lot’s of Orgs. which have wealths of info, and are mobilized and active such as Local Progressive Democrat Orgs., and the local Democratic Parties (usually at the county level), all working hand in hand with OFA.

Obama said real change is built from the ground up. Dr. Chopra is using the ground up path, too.

This is a wonderful way to get yourself and your community involved in supporting the president’s reform efforts-

I have been meeting with some OFA members in my community and their is a lot of new ideas and great information, and good community activity coming about.

We(OFA members) got actively involved with Health Reform and exceeded our expectations in showing support by calling our elected officials and senators- They all responded too, and were grateful that we showed support and were getting involved…..

It is wise to participate and spend our energy in this way. Also the OFA is teaching and learning better ways to communicate politics so as to not expend our energy with complaints, which get us no where, but increase the out flow of creative energy with healthy communication and the sharing of good ideas-

The future will depend on healthy communication and active participation.

(I gotta start my posts at least a cursory glance before hitting the submit button) 🙂

When you think about it, since Nixon, 28 out of the last 40 years we’ve had conservative leadership in government. 40 years really isn’t that long of a time, but a lot of mischief and mayhem was instituted during that time frame. Which unraveled a lot of the good things which were accomplished during the greatest economic expansion in human history (1947-1945) As a result, our country is on its knees. We all know the statistics.

George Carlin once said, “If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you’re going to get selfish, ignorant leaders.” Reflecting back on the last 40 years, I’d have to agree with his assessment. But it’s a new day dawning, and we have an intelligent, compassionate leader in the White House, and that speaks volumes about us. It is time to reenergize ourselves and support this President. Write your elected representatives in Congress. Do it every day if you feel the desire to do so. In my experience they are listening, and responding. In word, and deed (Well, all except one where I live. And he’s going to vacate his seat in the midterms, because I said so). 🙂

Commit. Intend. Be the change you deserve to see.

She then declares further in her prose writings this statement,

Energetic blessings from the Heartphone

Hereunder a poem based on my experiences in life.
During this life I found a wonderful person on my journey who wrote a book about it and it struck me how someone on the other side of the globe could have worded so perfectly what I had experienced.

Freedom as an Evolution
in the 21st Century

Wisdom from the Heart:

Freedom as an evolution in Man
Coming from inner security
So he can
Experience directly the truth from within
And share it with others as a divine begin

Oneness of all mankind will become the norm
And the age to be will take form
In solving our problems on the move
Enabling us at the same time to prove
That the present moment is the best way
To solve the problems of today

No more thinking ahead or back
But setting ourselves on the present track

No more fear of what could be or what would be
But direct action the moment it should be
Not judging in any kind of a degree
But trying to sort it out in harmony

And harmony is a natural aspect
Of Nature within and without
So treating oneself harmoniously in this respect
Is what it is all about

Caring for oneself will produce the results
That are needed to help one another
This will create a race of adults
Who can have compassion for themselves and their brother

Then men can universally arrange
To accept that what cannot be changed
And change that what one cannot accept
In learning to become each other’s adept

Transparancy and honesty will become the norm
Self acceptance will be the tool to transform
Oneself into a peaceful human being
Who knows his value lies in this first beginning

Self acceptance is the clue
Not asking how, but just simply do

What do I prefer?
Devastation or Joy?

How will I know this if I do not try
To find out my wants and my desires
With selfrespect and dignity
Finding on the inside what this requires?

The inner ability to achieve all this
Is a huge force and will surely bring the bliss
Of being proud
When finding it all out
by Oneself

And thus having raised one’s awareness
One sees the perfection of ones own nature
And one is able to caress
this perfection in the other for sure
because we all are a part of this nature

And then the personal individuality can flower fully
in freedom of expression according to his talents
And one can again be wholeheartedly
Sharing this with other students

Finally knowing the ultimate truth
of remembering
That the ‘God’ within
Is the ultimate Good

President Obama is very attuned to the principles of cause and effect. He understands that he is an instrument in this time period to lead mankind towards further progress.

I have listened closely, I know his heart- He is awake and aware….and has the core supporters like you, assisting him in every good way-
Our good thoughts and soul support, are very powerful……

At this moment we are not there yet

In my storybook the outlook
