(1) The Unit of Policy Making needs to be global, but with the G20 it is national. All national leaders have local constituencies. Yet we are are a time in the history of the world where we face a host of global problems that cannot be solved with reductionist, political thinking. Perhaps thats why this particular crisis is upon us. We are being prodded to shift and grow our of old ways and modes of thought. (2) We currently have political leaders of limited quality. There are four dimensions of a high quality leaders, They are capable of sensing, knowing, feeling and acting with equal measures of soul, intellect, feeling and nerve, not our of a narrow self interest but our of a sense of the common good and the common wealth, not out of a sense of gaming the system. Watch Invictus for an example of an extraordinary leader that possesses these qualities. The world needs more like him. – J. Conlon

People pray, people do good works, but the people needed to create the “critical mass” for the right things to get done.. it’s a “divide & conquer method, w/ everyone loosing. These people who “take” charge, are the same people who march us off to war. Just wearing a coat of a different color.
Pandora’s Box is just that.
I wish U* Peace, that too is a choice, as we keep trying.
