I just saw Deepak in Chicago this afternoon here in Chicago at the Celebrate Your Life conference. He showed some slides that had all of the things in our lives (like career, community, social interactions, etc.) and said these slides were on his website (there was also a separate one on spirituality). I can’t find them on either deepakchopra.com or oneworld.org. Can you tell me how I can access them or send them to me? I would be quite grateful! Deepak’s talk was wonderful! Thanks very much 🙂

Absolutely brilliant. I have just started reading your writing and watched some of your talks. It is fascinating and improving me in many ways. Its a whole new point of view on life that just blows me away. I hope to learn it all. And master all my doubts and fears in my head. Thank you.

Wow, I couldn’t agree with you more Deepak. Too many of us search for happiness when truly the happiness we all seek is inside each of us. The shift in consciousness is growing & people are starting to understand that there is a better way of life. It will take time as all big changes do but as we grow as individuals we grow as a community & together we can change the world!!! Open your heart to love & let go of the need to judge others, as well as the need to be right!! We are all connected & as we begin to understand that, we will come together as never before.

The Tibetan monasteries are flourishing – according to a friend who is a Tibetan monk and who has been in and out o Tibetan several times in the last few years. The Chinese are not able to leave Tibet, even if they wanted to -who would immediately go in there and threaten China from there?

The Dalai Lama works, strangely enough, for the the NED – just another CIA off spring. I do not know why he does this and it makes no sense – but just wanted to let you know that the Tibetans are no more spiritual, in the end, than the rest of us! It is truly a matter of taking ourselves to task, or to the meditation cushion, and looking inward.

Alas, does anyone really think the egoic hunger for more (globally) will ever stop? Really? China is just getting started. A country that happily slaughtered the Tibetans and will do the same with any other spiritual practice they can. Anything that could get in the way of their people wanting to work more and consume will not be allowed.

Just as with a person, typically only massive pain will stop them, and then often not even that will awaken them. Does anyone really think that the US won’t be the first corporate state?

It seems the few light seekers just aren’t putting a dent in the conservative take-over of America helped by corporations, or the insane hunger for stuff. There must be another way to raise consciousness, but maybe not!
