i had written a nice comment here... all my comments from this weekend were erased... :(... anyway... anyway... i had said something like that appreciation and gratitude were also necessary... that staying in the present only wasn't enough... however today i'm feeling a little short on energy and when gratitude and appreciation don't easily come out... just staying in the present seems to be kind of comforting... i guess the comment disappeard somewhat providencially... :)

Deepak, a gentle counselor gave me same suggestion many years ago when I was grieving the ending of my marriage. "Pull to present" became a sort of mantra to help me cope with the pain, heal the wounds of my past, forgive myself & my husband, and see the gifts of opportunity unfolding from this loss. Since then I have come to appreciate that "this moment" is the only thing we really "own", and thus your message resonates with me again. Thank you for these daily inspirations. God bless your work of LOVE in the world. -- Lisa
