I observe &#039;surrender&#039; and &#039;submission&#039; suggest that something is lost whereas  &#039;acceptance&#039; and &#039;allowance&#039; suggest that something is gained.  That something is &#039;responsibility&#039;.
One might only change those things for which one is responsible. One does well to accept and allow one&#039;s responsibility to shape change in the Gracious Universe we share. &#039;Surrender&#039;, like &#039;submission&#039;, belies one&#039;s potential to effect change.  One is here for the purpose of shaping the awareness about change and how it might be directed.
