Rituals bring a sense of
stability, security, and
action.Little children go through a period of "ritual
sensitivity" and get very upset or unsettled when
"rituals" are breached or
forgotton. e.g. Forgetting
to "hug" a child after
a ritualistic hug years
before!!
For adults it may provide
"spark" in their mundane lives do otherwise, but for small children ( 0 to 6) rituals are very important in their daily lives. Just remember there
is never "one size fits all" when it comes to us humans in our many developmental phases of
growth . Let us face it
"teenagers" are different from
"adults" and babies from
elementary age ( 6 to 12 Old) children. I like rituals and it is one to
be reminded that they exist
over time , when other things same. Just an observation! Thank you.
