On Tuesday, June 4th, public health advocates, academics, and integrative medicine pioneer Deepak Chopra, MD will join The Washington Post Live for America’s Health Future to examine the pivotal impact of socioeconomic factors on human health. Chopra will talk one-on-one with The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart to discuss the social impact of our pervasive digital culture on our overall health.
Speakers will discuss how various societal issues – including poverty, lack of education, food insecurity, and poor housing conditions – have a powerful effect on our everyday health. Discussions will examine how local governments, the food industry and the medical community are approaching these concerns and what innovative solutions are being developed.
