It seems the main goals of all religions are noble ones, and that is to help people who are alive now and will be born in the future, and to remove or reduce the fear of death.

If the world’s religions were truly united in their goal of helping others it could be a very different place.

On the second matter….people like Aubrey De Grey and others understand that, in the long run, aging and death only occur as a result of several (about 7 known so far) documented breakdowns in our cells that are diseases’ and are preventable. Predictions of a 300 year lifespan being possible in 50 years and a two to three thousand year lifespan down the road are all very possible. The social and ethical aspects of that will be worked out. They always are.

There are grassroots organizations like the website dropalovebomb.com and others on facebook being organized everyday with more and more members in order to help mankind collectively.

It is an interesting exercise to take any book like the bible or Koran and change the word “prophet” or “god” to the word “mankind”. It is very enlightening.

Could it be time for a change?

All of the other larger questions like the one above, regarding relegion vs Science on how we got here or where we are all going don’t really matter, on a day to day, year to year basis, why argue and discuss at all?

Had one epiphany when I was 34 which made me an observer finding out my own subjective truth on the way, creating heaven on earth as my inner reality.
Funny thing is that inner slowly but surely has become outer and merged together.
Am 65 now and still vibrantly alife 🙂
