I greatly admire those women - and no less, the men! - who take practical steps to bring about an environment in which such a dialogue can take place and put their money where their mouth is in regard to the action they take to make this a better world. Thank you, you are very inspirational!

Excellent challenge for compassion and love and standing for awareness and acceptance of other cultures and then support for women trapped in brutal situations! Having just viewed the film The Stoning of Saravena" I am finding this article most synocronistically enlightening . I am sure I don't have the title of this movie correct but it deals with this same issue . Universal consciousness is shifting! Thank you!

I find this topic fascinating. I am an aviation English instructor currently training two groups of Muslim students from an Airline in the Middle East. They are very young and enthusiastic. Due to the vast difference between our cultures I have found that the time required for teaching is twice as long as planned due to the necessity to include culture awareness as part of the content. Certain topics require a deep explanation and extensive study, and to ensure learning takes place, simulations are practiced. It is very rewarding to see the great AHA! on their faces when at last they get it. Language and culture are so closely linked.

What do other people think about this topic?
