Thanks Hackman for responding so generously to my questions :)

Lol, I am hardly familiar with all the authors you mention but will have a look on the Internet and try to find out more about them and the books you mention.

If you haven't read a book written by Deepak I wonder how you can be so prejudiced. I am not so fond of his political essays either. But I am not so interested in politics.

I am only too glad that he has not written anything about politics in bookform.
I certainly would not read that.

In his books Deepak writes as a medical doctor, a
philosopher and a word magician. He is very creative in his word choices and very professional in his medical statements.

I love folk music too. For the rest I am a child of my time and love rock and roll music by Elvis and Cliff Richard. I love music from the Beatles and my most favourite pop group is ABBA. But they are the most popular in te whole of Europe :)

I am also a romantic and love light classic music like Johan Strauss.
I have seen a lot of operettas or musical comedies in my younger days.

I am one of those women who act before they think lol
I follow my heart and my heart doesn't know much logic.

You are obviously a man who thinks before he acts. My husband is the same.
We both are a nice balance of yin and yang :)

Well, you have given me a few things to get to know you better.

Thanks and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

With gratitude,

Mieke

Same to you Gyanama and to all.

Gratitude a feeling of root
It always brings me in the mood
Of singing, dancing
Like bubbles floating in space
Interconnected in a movement of grace

Hello Hackman,

Have you ever read a book of Deepak?

What books do you read, except for the Bible?

Are you interested in art?

Are you interested in poetry?

I would love to get inspired by YOU :)

Not in a rational way. I do not want to unravel the bible.

I would like to find more things we all have in common.

Am making small poems at the moment to pictures of Egyptian Dinanderie art.

Dinanderie (copper and brass objects) has always been seen as something industrial.

But during the period that men discovered how to make those objects, especially for domestic use, it required real creative craftsmanship.
And the Church has been the only one that uses these objects as art.
There is a wonderful connection here.

Tell me about your hobbies.

Am really interested because hobbies can give so much satisfaction in ones life.

Am having so many. And one can weave religion and art together in such a holistic way.

Deepak's books are also pieces of art.

He is a great artist in weaving his words in such a way that one is touched by them on a very deep level.

Love from Mieke
