I was just surfing the TV when I chanced upon an interview on the Larry King show . Two guys being interviewed regarding Stephen Haw king's latest pronouncements.
I am an ardent admirer of the beautiful Hero of mine called Stephen Hawking for as long as I can remember. The scientist in me always thought this is one scientist who deserved to see HIM .( The philosopher in me thought probably he has already seen HIM through his Karma ,Yoga and Jnana way.)
I some how did not agree with his latest pronouncement .
As I pulled up the chair and was keenly watching the show , what others said did not much matter ( as they were looking at the first creation of matter ) .But Larry was driving it close to what should matter... I did not like when you were interrupted . But the drunk soul that you are, kept quite to keep the decorum.
But when Larry gave you a second chance you did not fall short of my expectation and closed it beautifully by saying that " YES SOMETHING CAME FROM NOTHING ". That was it for me . TAT TVAM ASI . of course Larry too closed it beautifully in one word for why why why , yes " Why Not ".
As you already know , every thing cannot be reasoned out logically certain things can only be reasoned out experientially.
Stephen Hawking am sure is not happy to be in sAlokya or sAmeepya of God He wants to see the sArUpya and be in sAyujya . Nobody deserves more then Stephan I think. If he is exposed to the vedantha teachings he will realize the anantha, anAtha , and the anAshritha that we are all seeking.
I read else where only today that every new product comes with a User Manual. The information in the User Manual helps the user to gain the maximum benefit from the product. The User Manual of the universe is the Vedas and if we follow the guidelines provided therein, we can also be second to none as He is .............
The Guru's blessings are absolutely necessary

The unknown is that which spiritual sense alone comprehends and which is unknown to the material senses..

a little something interesting to share from Ann Beals-
As we come to understand One Mind, we begin to embody in consciousness an advanced intelligence or a spiritually scientific enlightenment that will eventually become one universal body of knowledge, as diversified as mathematics in it's application to human needs, yet all resting on one absolute Principle.
This new knowledge will evolve as science and religion meet and merge into an elementary form of divine metaphysics. We will know when we have a correct understanding of this realm as it will bring about healings comparable to those of early Christianity. They will come about through spiritual means alone. Thus our healings will be proof that our understanding of the spiritual dimension is scientifically correct. As our understanding of this realm unfolds, the healing works will grow increasingly effective, harmonizing and perfecting all avenues of human experience....

I tend to want to further explore Fred Hoyle's steady state theory. He suggest a "steady-state" universe in which energy is constantly being created while the density of mass in the universe is unchanged. this would relate logically to the idea of a universe that has always been and always will be, with no beginning and no end, eternally evolving through the continuous creation of atoms appearing throughout all time and space..

Absolutely it is very interesting and deep your analysis on this book. I have not read yet. I try to start reading next week, but on the basis of your insightful comments, I could say that I feel "The Grand Design" is simply to assume that we are God; that the creative process is the software of God, and that this process, is activated by God impulse to love and enjoyed himself. I also believe there is an inaccuracy the use of some words from the scientific vocabulary, such as "Nothingness." God can not be “Nothing”, because is evident that God must be “Something”, and by the way, “Something that is unlimited” and Iintelligence in itself. I also believe that it is not possible to constrain God in an equation. God is infinite, such as Mathematics. God is a mathematician, but not a single equation; in the same way as Music is not only "The 4 Seasons” by Vivaldi or Bach Fugues. Music is the harmonious development of all composition. Definitely, I think the reason is one way to God, but when reason has shown us what God is, It's time to start enjoying It, and this is like to feel It..

Chopra Master thanks for this wonderful blog, that has inspired me to read the book and to do many other considerations. My love and respect to you.
