Of course there are different scenarios. The most wishable one would be that Europe becomes a second United States but then of Europe 🙂

Maybe this can also be reached between the Arab countries in the future.

On Feb. 4, 2011 US President Barack Obama and Canadian Premier Stephen Harper gave a joint press conference. Although Egypt was on everybody’s minds, the two leaders discussed the mutual cooperation between their two countries and how Canada is America’s largest trading partner. The question that was not asked is, “Could Canada be a harbinger of a New Earth?”

Canada’s regulated banking system was not affected by the financial melt-down. The continuing partisan war in the US over health care does not exist in the Canada with its universal health care paid for by the government. Additionally, Canada’s military budget is 20 billion compared to the 700 billion in the U.S., giving the Canadian government more money to spend on the care of its people.

If our Planet Earth were to become a more cooperative and conscious place wouldn’t it include universal health care, a regulated banking system that avoids bubbles and busts, and a foreign policy averse to wars? This is not to say that the Canadian system is even close to a visionary utopia, but it is a fact that Canadian travelers when presenting a passport in foreign countries hostile to the U.S. are often not harassed like their lower 48 counter parts.

The stability of Canada with its caretaking government was featured in stark contrast to the struggles in Egypt in the Obama-Harper press conference. Perhaps we can take some of the finer examples of cooperation from America’s little brother to the North and see how the struggle for survival does not have to be ruled by the impairment of egoic dysfunction which propagates the belief that there always will be a struggle for scarce resources. Instead, if we identify with the universal intelligence that creates through us then the ego gets less strong which in turn creates less enemies. Actions in a society that is aimed at the good of all create more friends and less adversaries at every level. And that is part of a New Earth.

All the holiday resorts in Egypt give the tourists food and play. How come they cannot do this throughout their whole country?
