Quite possibly we in this country are in a dialectic of imploding – all violence to implode to the awakening peace, harmony, laughter and love the Dr. Chopra writes about. Awake with a song in your heart; face a stranger with a greeting of “Good Morning” as Maya Angelou writes; practice altruism and compassion the way the Dalai Lama speaks. Therein lies our destiny for the living paradox of doom no man loving man desires. Keep Hope Alive, as Martin said – can you hear him now? I can!

reading about the LIVES of
Men and Women of PEACE,RELIGION and inventors who made our world so wonderful.
Start with the CHILDREN.
who are the PROMISE of tomorrow.Education can lead to a more Civil society, politics leads us
into conflict and at times
war.. the extreme uncivil
condition.Today is Martin Luther King Day.. read about him and examine his
life, dedicated to fighting Injustice by non-violent methods, just like
Mahatma Gandhi.. two Pillars of CIVILITY.
Remove the UN from CIVIL !

*Excellent words. The healing of a nation begins w/ each & every person, in the home, & the community, one person at time. I will always remain hopeful, but we live in a country that gives approval of war abroad, & look the other way when real pockets of it exist here in the shape & form of desperate situations in our cities, w/ so many children being written off, due to the situations they have been born into. The outbreak of the recent episode of violence in Arizona due to, “mental illness” inflected on the innocent citizens, is an American Tragedy, that has been bred into a nation w/ the help of the entertainment/media, which is now way beyond TV. These are sad, sad, times for an American to come to terms with. I pray for hope, peace, & healing solutions.

The very good news is that violence can be healed. It is no part of our true essence and can be discarded. There will come a time when this will be understood by the majority.
Good is always happening..and Good is omnipresent…
