"See, I believe there is an underlying and unifying foundation to this seeming mosaic of ideas, ideologies and ironies. I see convergence in these seeming contradictions. Because in our frantic search for something to believe in, we are also inventing new technologies that are enabling us to seek the deeper truths that validate our human existence. We’re creating tools that empower us to share our discoveries with each other, irrespective of where in the world we sit, generating social networks of shared experience and insight. Of course, even there, there’s irony because it is perhaps on account of the velocity of data that scans across our individual consciousness every day – the billions of tweets, digs, updates, and the rest – that we find ourselves in this maelstrom of meaning. Still, the result is the same: never have we been more poised to invent the new codes by which our new planetary tribe needs to proceed."
Gotham Chopra
This paragraph makes the most insightful thought. I like the deep lines of introspection. Good job! The question is, though, is how to proceed? I am putting my eggs in one basket and predicting sets of events that is credible and just around the corner.
It will be a time of celebration according to a well respected physicist, Michiu Kaku.

I am a student in the U.S, and in this environment I see a massive disconnection between the spirit/soul and the physical in the minds of the average person. It seems as though it is human nature (especially in contemporary times) to become overwhelmingly diverted and burdened with self created problems/distractions that seem hold no real hope for true resolution; e.g. politics(always fighting back an forth), consumption (the notion of happiness being fulfilled through material possessions), wars(a worse way to solve bad problems), money(which spawns greed and inequality). Leading to the inherent ignorance to spirit (something that has rarely in my experience, been emphasized as anything important in life). The attempts made by political leaders to fix these problems seem fruitless not to mention extremely difficult, time consuming, also fundamentally ignoring any notion of the permanent reality (our being/soul). With the given circumstances this huge ideological gap seems as though it can never be filled. My question is: How is it that we have become SO disconnected from the part of us that is responsible for everything we perceive, is there any hope in humanity waking up, and how can this be accomplished?

Interesting reading. However why worry about this erudite sounding rhetoric. What really matters is your own conviction, what has worked for you in your life.
"His Holiness" ? Do you mena the Dalai Lama ? He takes money, and has done for a long time, from the CIA and nowadays from George Soros. I am Buddhist - but I think that you Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama and a few others too, are against the People and against Justice. You are politicians and NWO.
