The Gentleman says he is learning a lot of new things, then he goes on to say that he needed to feel fulfilled and have a direction. Now that is a loaded statement and opens a Pandora’s box. Maybe he did make a mistake by quitting his job. There has to be a lot of thought put into this before anyone makes a carrer change.

Deepak indeed provided a very profound answer. I myself feel anxious and honestly, it brings all the negative energy into us and create mental models in us. And these same models we happen to encounter in our real lives.

About what I am doing now a days, I am meditating just as I used to do back during my engg college days in India. Meditation helped me to get thru 4 yrs of being away from home, family and not to mention the heavy course load. I am saying to myself, “in these circumstances that I am going thru now, think that I have a higher goal to achieve and meditate regularly and consistently.” Even though it’s difficult to bring back a good and old habit/life style, I am doing it. Then, it occurred to me…”I am not putting sincere efforts and wishing for my own success. I am being carried away by what markets, news media and other messages buzzing around me.”

Now I am in the process of re-aligning myself, just like Deepak told in his books…”between each thought there is a huge potential.” I am in the process of uncovering this and trying to use it for my own success.

Even though I wrote all about myself here, hope you understand what I am trying to share. I wish one and all a Very Happy New Year and may all your hidden potential bring success in every way.

A problem to solve.” He is in depression. Art imitates life. This is brilliant, because it is so common… The brilliant mind, which most who follow Deepak enjoy, will make US the problem if it doesn’t have a problem to solve.

We spend 12 years in school taking tests, anxious about being perfect, daily faced with problems to solve. Without an outside problem, the mind turns inward. Work provides problems to solve, to keep the mind busy, even if we don’t “like” the work. Even the people at work provide problems.

Find a problem, anything, to put the mind into. Start studying this problem, read books, work with friends, set to solve it. Attack your own situation as a problem KNOWING there is a solution and YOU will find it. Many a great person has turned around by putting the mind to work, then selling that solution. Business is simply solving problem for ourself then others.

We want a more purposeful life than the one we’ve been living just to survive.
By having our true spirit self in charge of our whole life, including the work we are doing, we are being fulfilled, happy and successful. As Deepak says perhaps we just have to hang in there with the tree of life within us and love ourselves and nurture our true eternal selves and be the watcher patiently until it bears fruit and the way we’re journeying seems more clear. Trust the oneness.

Feel compassion for those more underpriviliged than you, count your blessings and see what this mysterious and unpredictable existence has in store for you.
