I think we have many soulmates not just one. But I feel that some connections are stronger and deeper with certain people then others. Where you feel more receptive to how they feel what they think, easier to understand. I met someone 3 years ago. The first time i saw him, I immediately felt an attraction to him and thought ” who is that “?
He has been on my mind everyday for the last 3 years. I just fell in love with him, and never had any real relationship with him. When I think about beeing with him it makes me feel peaceful and happy. Its an intense feeling of longing. No matter what I do “I can’t forget about him” When I realized how intense I felt towards him it scared me. I though wow, this is out of control, why am I feeling this way about him. In any case maybe I will know one day, maybe I will never know. But I know that he’s touched my heart in a way that no one has been able to in the past.

:-)…Heart has reasons that reason does not know.
But I also feel that it’ll be difficult for you to be in a relation with someone else, as your basic emotional fulfillment is being met from a person with whom you don’t expect any relationship. You may not realize at this moment, but in future the detachment process from this person may become painful for you.

In reply to Beena. Completely in-tune with what you feel, coz i have experienced & still experiencing the same feeling with a person. No future, no relationship that the world can word but definitely expectations, but i always kill those expectations as they never seem to be fulfilled. What do we do when the person we have this connection to does not feel the same way.... does one pursue or just ignore/ suppress the feelings & move on & how to move on??

iam a child of the Universe who has let certain streses and life dramas to deflect from taking care of me. I have man meds and many contribute to my being over weight. I no longerr love my body. I desire a kind man to see my inner beauty and be my partner back to heakth. I always perform better with a partner.

Every child is a unity, always in its element. Later on one is confronted with duality
caused by natural forces which were previously absent
but then are induced in that stage of life
Just try to be aware
what is going on there
in your own being
and try to accept that unconditionally
before engaging in anything mutually

You will find many soulmates on your way
But the only one who will really stay
Is the one found in yourself
Once that is firmly established
relationships will forever last in bliss

‘Soul mate is one’s self’ I always look to people who have the same/similar thoughts & feelings & the way they express these & themselves. I will always feel a flurry of butterflies when its the opposite sex as I know we will make a good match. I’m always very intune to compatibility, & the other half/side that will enhance me. Perhaps its my starsign twin -gemini talking?

Not too long ago, my husband of 25 years left me and our Son, to be with his “soul mate”, rather than work on our exisitng relationship. I feel he is infatuated, and in the grip of his hormones…….
I agree with Deepak! A good relationship is a journey requiring skillful manouvering over rocky shoals. It is possible get to a beautiful spot together.

i don’t know the meaning of the word soulmate. But i have experienced a deep inexplicable bond with someone for no apparent reason. There is no relationship or future or any expectation that is possible/intended with this person. Yet there is a deep caring and eagerness to give. There is this intense loving feeling which cannot be expressed in words. Whatever it is, its beautiful.

The true soul mate is… G-d, the Divine Consciousness, Buddha-nature, the ineffable,whatever driving force gives your heart inner joy and even mindedness throughout life. And if you are blessed with meeting a person whom reflects as much as possible that divinity, great…if not, all is still great.

What is a soul mate? Have you meet your own soul? Do you know who you are? And what you really want? Soul mate is one’s self, only when you know all the answers of your true identity, you will know who is your soul mate.

For me to tell you right now, anyone can be your soul mate, but life is always a work of art. You need to make it happen.

So, don’t hesitate or gussing, let your true self lead you, becuase once you let you be your self, your soul mate will follow.
